Ngannou looked like he felt that time stopped in one moment,
DC is on another level of course , so I guess that would not be
Stipes gameplan ?

Doubtful.

I think Stipe will primarily be using counter-wrestling to avoid getting taken down.

He's going to want to use his boxing more against DC, as he will have an 8 inch reach advantage, and he throws a wicked jab / straight-right combo.

this, and DC's cardio will not be an issue. hoping for a more competitive fight.

Stipe will end up on the bottom. He has good TDD, but DC will dump him on his head regardless.

Could it happen? Yes.

I doubt it will though.

I agree with Stipe will probably want to stand more, but at the same time I think he dominates Cromier if he's on top also..

I hope they are both getting paid alot they both have soo much to lose.

Knock DC down and out.

I won't lie, I'm curious about how much the added weight is going to affect him. He hasn't fought at HW in 4 years, and he's no spring chicken. Stipe obviously isn't build like Ngannou, but I think DC's going to find out Stipe's likely stronger than he looks. There is zero chance DC keeps this fight standing, and if he can't outmuscle Miocic, I think he's going to be in for a long night.

No. DC will be the one pushing the pace. DC constantly moves forward. I predict Stipe will gas from moving backwards for 10 minutes and then DC will take over the fight.

No that will not happen at all because DC is a world class wrestler unlike Ngannou and he will not gas after 3 minutes of the first round like Ngannou.

The difference is DC has way more fight and heart in him.

More like DC will do that to Stipe. Or will try to.

Problem is he'll have to get close to Stipe first and will no doubt use his striking. Stipe via counter right hand ;)

I agree DC will push the pace ,but Stipe KOd Werdum while moving backwards, I expect DC to be more cautious then usual.

I see this being primarily a standup fight with some clinch work. High level wrestlers usually cancel each other out.
