The weight for Nate vs GSP hasn’t been decided yet as far as I know so I think it would be a good time to crown an inaugural 165lb champ allowing Nate to unify against Conor by the end of the year.

Also giving Conor the opportunity to become a tree weight champion if he can get past Nate, which is a big if.

Is now the time to crown a 165lb champ?

GSP is going to Maul Diaz it is funny to think otherwise, don't bet on the underdog in this one because he literally has no chance and you can blah blah blah all day and nothing will change the fact.
As a matter of fact GSP might accidentally run over Nate looking for his opponent.

Lol @ "Nate" and "champ" in the same sentence

Im a huge Nate fan but GSP will destroy him at any weight

Imagine how awful that weight class would be if Nate Diaz was champ.

Conor's mediocrity created a monster in Nate.

And now the scoundrel wants a piece of that.

Nate's chances being a champ are as good as Mike Perry's. 0%.

I don’t think so.

But, If the division is ever made. I believe it would be made with Conor in mind. But, if he had to fight GSP in the inaugural fight to crown a champion. Then the debate ends there.

If it happened though. And Convict, and Nate were to fight for the inaugural belt. He’d obviously have a good chance. But, that is literally the only way that I could ever see Nate being the champion, anywhere... Period.

Stranger shit has happened, though. Bisping for instance.

God what a stupid idea it is to make that weight class.

Nobody is healthier / better at 165lbs. They just want an easier path to a title.

Conor wants 165 and the UFC / WME / Ari know it

If they opened 165 without him, McGregor would fire Dana White

No! The Diaz brothers almost always lose the big fight
