I know that Brock was obviously quite a bit larger, but Rumble has shown solid TDD at LHW and with the power he has I think he could have been competitive with Brock. Carwin wasn't able to put Brock away which shows how much punishment he could take, but to me it seems like Rumble's skill set would actually match up well.

Depends who imposes their will first.

If Brock gets a double leg early on, it's over.

If Rumble lands a big shot early on, it's over.

Carwin couldn't put Brock away because he spent the large majority of the round punching the fuck out of Lesnar's forearms. It literally took the next fight against Cain for someone to learn from Carwin's mistake and put him away

And yes, Rumble would win. Lesnar looked stupidly uncomfortable during the standup well before his illness.

We have a extremely heavy handed man who doesn't like to get taken down VS a extremely good wrestler who doesn't like to get punched.

50/50 IMO

All he has to do is touch Lesnar's chin once and Lesnar would wilt. Brock hated getting hit and Rumble hits harder than anybody Lesnar ever fought (even Reem).

Haha yes easy KO, Brock doesn't like getting hit

Basically this. If Brock does what brock usually does and just comes out like a bat out of hell and goes for a double, he probably wins. If he shows up for a paycheck like he did against Overeem and just looks at Rumble and waits to eat a big shot, Rumble wins.

Thing is I highly doubt Rumble can stop the takedown if Brock really went after it. If Brock was in good form and had the game plan to just come out and try to power double AJ, I'd have it like 75/25 brock.

Brock by arm triangle choke.. round 2

Brock is way too big for Rumble. He's almost 300 on fight night.
