Could everyone stop pretending USADA is the reason Bisping is Champ.

I've heard multiple people say something along the lines of "well in this USADA era where Bisping is the Champ, who knows what could happen now that the playing field is level."

Bisping as Champ is nothing but a fluke.

His last 4 wins:

Rockhold: Fluke Punch. Rockhold mauled him easily in the first fight.
Anderson: Fight could have easily been stopped. Was on deaths door. Anderson was 40 and has literally no chin left. And he was clowning around in that fight.
Leites: Won a close split decision.
CB Dalloway: Any reasonable fighter would beat him.

So even if you take away my biased analysis of his last 4 wins 2 of them aren't even impressive. One is against a guy past his prime with a bad chin. The fact of the matter is Bisping got lucky he's like Matt Serra, he got a shot at GSP and pulled off an upset. USADA had nothing to do with his run to the belt if not for the injury to Weidman he'd never have gotten this shot.

Flame away.

Rockhold: Fluke Punch.

Flame away.

Fuck you.

I agree, Bisping will get murdered in his first title defense.

What's up, Luke? Still salty?

Days and days of salty threads.

This is my favourite time to be on Sherdog

You're right, It's Bisping being the better fighter on that night.

TS speaks the truth. Bisping is fluke champ just like Silva, GSP and Jones. The best fighters in the world actually are unranked because they're unlucky.

There are some fighters that are performing badly since USADA but I already got double yellowed so I totally believe these fighters are clean since the beginning of MMA.

if you take anderson in the abstract and assume he fights his best fight, then you have to do the same for bisping. that knee would've never happened if bisping hadn't been distracted by his mouthpiece and talked to the ref, and bisping was handling anderson until that point.

We could, but we all know it was really the TRT ban.

Fluke? You're an idiot. Bisping pointed out that Rockhold constantly drops his right hand. That punch was practice and great timing. Caught Luke with another beauty hook to put him down the 2nd time too.

The only problem is people think in black and white...a or b....it's certainly a factor since it's made several contenders less dangerous whether you're aware of it or not.

Ok. I'll stop pretending it's because of USADA.

So my reason will now be he's champ because he's a good fighter.

Not a Bisping fan, but he had good wins going in, took the fight on short notice and knocked out the champion in the first round. Making excuses or finding ways to dismiss him are just idiotic. And going out of your way to come up with rebuttals to the dismissals/excuses is even worse.
