Could AB move up in weight like James Toney? They have similar styles

Broner gets hit with everything thrown at him. They arent remotely similar.

Broner moved up one weight class and took a horrific beating.

I love that Toney/Floyd style. Does any modern fighter use a similar style (Apart form AB)
Although AB's defense has improved, it's no where and will probably never be anywhere close to anything resembling Tony or Mayweather. With those two guys, we're talking about arguably two of the top rung of best defensive boxers in history. Bronzer is just a pretender, doesn't have a fraction of the vision, and tools they have/had, it's waaaaay more than just using you shoulders and arms to block and turning your waist.

Toney didnt move up in weight by choice, he was just a fat greedy lazy bastard

True, but the main point is, he was able to do that and still remain incredibly competitive and even won a few belts along the way, because of his skillset. AB would do the same thing in regards to his life habits and lack of discipline, he'd get fat, and get knocked out every time in the higher weight classes because he has NO skills that translate to higher weightclasses.

Broner vs GGG or Kovalev sounds good to me. Not for the competitiveness.

Twice.

Porter put a hurt on him and turned him into an octopus that spent the better part of the fight holding on for dear life. He can't compete above 140.

Still trying to figure out what style you are talking about because Toney and Broner are quite different IMO. I guess the similarity is that they taunt their opponents, daring them to attack, so that they can counterpunch. I would say that Rigondeaux is like that, and he is much better than Broner defensively.

TS doesn't know shit about boxing.

Same styles? Because of the "shoulder roll"?
Same styles?

You have zero knowledge of boxing.

Totally different styles, Toney was a defensive juggernaut, Broner is only successful when he's offensive and not trying to be defensive.

and AB isnt? Toney is 100x the fighter AB was. Much more skill, much tougher, just happens to like that burg kang

Toney was very good defensively and had a granite chin among other things. Broner appears to be lazy which gives him one thing in common with Toney, but Toney had a lot more going for him.

And he can't compete at 140 anymore, fuck the prison and all the stress cop outs, he refused to cut .4lbs he could lost that sitting in a sauna for ten minutes, he made a farce of the belt he has like a complete cunt, maidana and porter both gave him a pasting he is a man without a country at this point.

Good god, some of this I couldn't understand but broner was bottled in this post

Yeah let me set this straight.

Things Broner and Toney have in common: They're fat, they're lazy, they hold their shoulders in a similar position, they're black.

Things they don't have in common: Everything else.
