he definitely got hit on the ground and the stoppage was warranted. but i didnt like how he turned around as soon as he hit the ground, ive seen him fight back from worse. i was surprised.

i dont think he gave up, his reaction time was just way off after that last knock down and he wasnt prepared to defend against a possible flying punch at the time his brain began functioning again, so he turned.

Is there a link between the two statements in the thread title and OP that I'm just too stupid to see?

If Lawler makes short work of Woodley (which I hope he will), I'd rather he fight again sooner rather than later. I'd say give Wonderboy the shot, and put Maia on the same card against someone he can get a highlight reel sub on.
