Correction, a much smaller Borz had a striking war with Burns at WW, #11 vs #2, when his main game obviously is grappling.

Costas fights in comparison have been in the same weight division against lesser opponents.

Or maybe you think Vettori would be a tough matchup as well, since he also has big muscles?

Burns is definitely smaller than Borz and the smallest opponent of all his opponents.

Vetorri would be the best wrestling type grappler Borz has faced if they fought. Not submission threat like burns but both he and Costa are much bigger guys with a lot more weight.

Size and weight obviously play a huge factor which is why they have weight classes. but sure man, I guess they suck cuz they have "big muscles only" lol.

The fight will be telling IMO. If he ragdolls ddp then he likely would do the same to Vetorri and Costa.

Funny that I've never heard this narrative when Burns faced Magny, Usman, Wonderboy, or JDM (who weighed the same as WW-Khamzat on fight night (189 lbs).

I disagree about Vettori. Whittaker took him down in their fight and has better wrestling/anti-grappling, as does Kamaru Usman.

I think you're underestimating the skill difference in their wrestling/grappling.

I doubt we will ever get to see Khamzat vs Vettori or Costa, given their career trajectories.

IIRC Khamzat has had the size/weight or height/reach advantage pretty much every time he faced a grappler

He has great skill in grappling but I've never seen him face someone the same size or bigger that is also a decent grappler

Dolidze would be a great matchup too, but I guess Ratlip has “greater fights” in the future and people don’t want to see that happen either.

Yes, if we forget about rankings and deserving, I think he still is stylistically of the worst matchups for ratlip and I absolutely think that styles make fights. So, yes I think this is the next best thing after the fight with DDP.

I don't really agree, but I can also kind of see it. Wouldn't mind that fight at all.
