Paulo Costa is the only one who can beat Khamzat at middleweight. He’s too strong, too big, and hits way too hard. Khamzat got knocked down by Burns, a lightweight..... imagine what happens when Costa lands.

Costa won’t be taken down easily man.... he’s powerful, explosive, and has great takedown defense. Once they start trading, Costa’s punches will make Khamzat feel real power.

Khamzat will try to wrestle, but Costa will stuff it and keep swinging. After eating a few big shots, Khamzat will slow down, start to doubt himself, and eventually quit. Costa’s strength, pressure, and knockout power make him the one guy who can truly stop Khamzat at middleweight.

Costa got beat by fucking Vettori, even after screwing the weight constantly.

How does he beat a better wrestler with heavier hands?

No. Costa is the most overrated fighter in UFC history.

Probably nothing?
I like Costa and dude looks like he should be able to knock out a rhino when he connects but he barely puts anyone down. Dare I say he somehow is pillow fisted even though the strike he throws seems to have heat behind them. I don't know how that's possible. We can't attribute God tier level chin and toughness to every fighter he fought.

hi Luffy

i'd love to see the fight because mw feels like a boring division.

Izzy was great and underrated. Yes UNDERATED - he was a few minutes away from beating alex in the first fight, then knocked out alex in the second fight, whose done that and yet no one remembers that or gives him credit. But izzy is washed now and a shell of his former self.

Strickland is entertaining but boring fighter.

DDP was exciting but khamzat exposed him. Dude has the ground game of a 3/4 stripe white belt.

RDR lacks heart.

Whittaker is washed.

Fluffy and allen are fresh matchups but not really main eventers yet.

So you can squeeze costa in. The build up will be entertaining. ANd costa will bring additional female viewers to the PPV.

Where did the myth of Costa having power come from? Was it because he TKO’d fat post-USADA Big Rigg?

The big and strong answer to wrestling is starting to fade here thanks to Khamzat. People are recognizing skill means more. Wrestlers usually translate better up weight classes because of it, the knowledge of grappling positioning is more how they operate vs sheer strength. I don't even know what Costa is good at, he's not really elite anywhere (Cardio, striking, wrestling, BJJ).
