Cormier: This guy is gonna be a problem at Heavyweight

Meh... We'll see. Hopefully he can make it past USADA.

USADA is the bane of MMA.

A three-time all-conference performer at Concordia (Neb.), Francisco was the GPAC Wrestler of the Year in the 2016-17 season. He finished as the NAIA runner-up during his senior campaign at 285. A two-time All-American, he placed sixth at nationals in 2014-15. He was tabbed the GPAC Wrestler of the Week three times during his career.

Francisco continues to train while at Doane with his eyes set on qualifying for the 2020 Olympics in free style wrestling for Team USA. He narrowly missed out on qualifying for the trials to participate at the World Championships in 2019. In the May 2019 USA national ratings released by themat.com, Francisco was ranked 10th at 285."

Go get some Francisco Ceron

As a high school sophomore at Douglas Byrd in Fayetteville, N.C., Ceron Francisco stood 5-foot-4. He had never wrestled before, had never been to the state of Nebraska and sometimes felt intimidated by opponents he lined up against on the football field.

After growing roughly nine inches between his sophomore and junior years of high school, Francisco’s stock as a collegiate football prospect skyrocketed.

I want to say 9” has to hurt but I’m afraid it will come out wrong so I’m not gonna say it.

looks massive....hopefully he does well, hopefully he tightens up a strong cardio game because to the eye those muscles look very Heavy

Ya always a big question. HW can pretty much take any solid prospect at this point and no idea as to where his MMA studies are (began or will begin). Will be an interesting rise (if it occurs).

Way too big to be sucessfull at MMA ..6'1 285 is to big for MMA he will be exhausted after 5 mins...a guy his height should be no more than 235-240

Wrestling is a grueling sport for sure but its not the same cardio as punching kicking grappling all together .. ive rolled/lightly sparred with a CFL football player before and there hella strong and athletic but i was able to submit him several times after the initial burst of 5 mins to so.. cuz he was tired and lacked experience and i was maybe half his weight or close to it at that time..its a different sport

That said HW is the least developed form of MMA so he could get some wins...but to be a champion and hold the belt for awhile..he needs to shed some weight off that frame its only gunna be a hindrance... unless coming in on that special sauce and not getting caught
