265 lbs: Stipe Miocic (242,5) vs. Daniel Cormier (246)
I thought that Stipe will be heavier. Do you think that Cormier in the heavyweight division will have worse cardio, because he is heavier?

I think Cormier has done this before.

You'll see a much faster, stronger and more conditioned DC since he didn't do a brutal cut to 205.

DC will be fine. Cardio has never been an issue for him at HW.

If he wins I don’t think he’s going back to 205.

If he wins he's taking a mega money fight against Lesnar, who will eventually enter the USADA test pool and come up with some arrangement. Brock will then get beaten down but cash out on his final UFC fight.

At that point, Cormier *could* make an exception to his 40+ rule and fight Jon Jones, who I do think will get a 2 year suspension retroactive, which will be a crime since he's left the USADA test pool but is getting a free pass (because USADA are corrupt).

no - cutting zero weight should be a huge benefit for a pressure fighter like DC who struggled to make 205.

DC had make up sex with Popeye's chicken to keep Black beast happy, hence the extra weight

Chael P Sonnen actually predicted this a couple weeks ago. Good prediction.

I don’t think that Stipe will be used to someone moving as well as DC. He can still win but will have trouble.

Most of the HWs these days are just too slow and plodding.

How quickly everyone has forgotten his strikeforce days.

The extra fat makes him stronger and more powerful....he took out every heavyweight they put in front of him.

This fight is just really interesting. Stipe has that range and power to KO Cormier, but Cormier has great wrestling and a lot of power in his right hand. A lot of Stipe's KOs have come from, as you said, those plodding heavyweights that just push forward and run right into his counter-right. I don't think DC is going to make himself an easy target.

I just hope this fight lives up to the hype. Regardless of the outcome, I just hope it's not a 1st round KO/TKO, so we can see the full range of each man's skillset.

I agree with all you’ve said, except that i wouldn’t be surprised if Jones gets 4 years retroactive as a repeat offender. I’d love to see DC vs Brock as a retirement fight for both of them.

Can't come in that out of shape and not gas

Cormier is fucked

Hope this DC show up..

Stipe isn't slow and plodding.

I could never look at Brock the same after he fought Cain. Just made him seem like a total pansy.
