I just find it interesting that Foxx can make such a disgusting joke about killing whites and people laugh and applaud. His career should have been over for saying something so vile.

Its more like saying "I get to kill all the Germans" when referring to a WWII movie. Its not okay to be anti-German but in this context its referring to the Nazis. In the case of Foxx, he's implicitly referring to the slave owners in the movie.

Also Foxx is an incendiary actor and he does suffer for it. He'll never be the kind of star that someone inoffensive like Denzel Washington is even though Foxx is a better actor IMO.
