Didn't want to create a thread so I bumped this one to ask about telescopes. Im currently looking for a good beginner telescope for celestial viewing and would like some advice from those experienced in the hobby. Ive browsed some websites and am leaning towards a Celestron AstroMaster 114 EQ Reflector telescope (on sale for $160) and, due to poor reviews on the CAM's finderscope, a Telrad Reflex Sight.

Is this a quality telescope and are there any other accessories like filters or eyepieces that I should also purchase? Thanks in advance.
