Isn’t training against Dariush already extreme ly similar to training against Islam?

Besides Islam probably shoots more, Dariush is a pretty good wrestler/counter-wrestler himself who is not too shabby with strikes, as Islam.

Yesterday I got a little bit high and actually thought about this..
Arman was injured for some time and would need to pull out, he waited to the last day so the UFC had no chance to bring a higher ranked LW willing to fight in short notice. That way the title shot stood inside ATT.

Then I snacked my way out of the munchies and remembered that Moicano and Arman doesn't like each other, so there's no chance.

I think the only thing that might be true is that Moicano knew earlier than anyone that Arman was not 100%.


If anything the fact that both are at ATT it probably makes it easy to take the weeks of development in Arman's game plan against Islam and how they can adapt that to Moicano's skill set in short order.

So a little bit of an advantage that they don't have to start a game plan from zero with less than 48 hours notice like Islam's team does.

Despite both being ATT guys, Arman and Moicano aren't really friends and rarely train together unless their coach makes them. They do have the same coach, though, so maybe the coach gave Moicano a heads up, but according to the coach and arman, the injury happened like a week ago, so at most moicano had a week's notice.
