With Conor being stripped without losing a fight, and the title being held by Max who has lost to Conor, it just doesn't feel like the belt is truly legitimate. If Frank had won and then won against Max, the he'd still have two losses to Aldo, so yeah, I know MMAth is bs but you can't deny, Frankie would have to either finally beat Aldo or fight Conor to be truly legitimate.

BUT Ortega is fresh, doesn't have losses to Conor or any of his opponents. With Ortega as Champ the division is reset and can truly say have left Conor behind.
