Your scotch choices are certainly solid. Those are two of my own favourites.

Im drinking some Buffalo Trace Kentucky bourbon as I type this.

Its pretty decent. Got a little spice to it.

My go-tos. Not saying I DON'T like Oban or Macallan for Scotch but they're a bit pricier usually.

No it is not “pretty much a licensing deal”. This is his own product, not some private label deal.

He will do well but not as well as the others stated in the thread. He using an existing distillery and brand then repackaging it so he doesn’t own the IP. Bushmills would have an option to buy it but I don’t see another provider being successful as some of the ingredients might be protected under Bushmill’s IP rather than anything to do with Conor.

It's probably a 3 year whisky.

Also, old doesnt mean good. Fermentation, distillation, ingredients, barrel quality, and storage are all more important.

Yeah they're doing it at the Bushmills distillery in Ireland. I went on a tour their in February (nothing to do with Conor) and their 12 year whisky was very good.

I think the Irish Whiskey market is worth about 2.5Billion Euros per year(roughly), with Conors marketing power behind it I wouldnt be surprised if he can bring in a hefty chunk of change

when a label says 'proper 12 year old' raises doubts about it,, at the most it would be a 3 yr old or its a rebadge of a dodgy brand
