“So we just came back from 7 days in Iceland, and then before that we were 7 days in Portugal. So we’ve been basically on the road for 2 weeks now and it was the beginning of the Portugal trip that I started hearing about this.

I did start hearing about them wanting to do this in Vegas, and Conor and I guess his manager were already kind of back and forth with them trying to figure out, is there a way around this or can we reschedule it? We were gonna be out there for five weeks before the event so why not do it during that five week period, rather than having to add in, like I said that long back and forth journey just when we’re starting our real training for this fight, only to have to readjust again a few weeks later when we move out there for five weeks. So I thought there was pretty good alternatives being offered. And then New York was agreed to, that was no problem, because that a lot less stressful of journey.

You can kinda go over Friday and be back by Sunday, it would just be a weekend kind of thing. Everything
was more or less being rejected, and then I guess the standoff came, and there you go.”

Coach Kavanaugh openly discussed the controversy surrounding the UFC and Conor McGregor, that’s taken over MMA headlines for the past week.

In this new interview with “The MMA Hour” the coach says the UFC was unwilling to work with them in any capacity.

http://entimports.com/2016/04/conor...it-out-with-the-ufc-they-rejected-everything/

so the ufc knew conor was in the middle of traveling and schedule a conference anyways mmm..

They can't budge cuz then other fighters will skip the press conference.

In the other thread it was hypothesized that this was all a publicity stunt. Eh and risk losing ticket sales? It costs money to travel when you can't plan it ahead.

"Work with him"?

MCGREGOR WAS GIVEN THE DIAZ REMATCH.

The UFC had no obligation to do that. In what way are they unwilling to work with him??????

I'm sorry but this question needs to be asked. And professional ass-kisser Helwani won't ask it.

What??? These guys scheduled a conference when one of their fighters were travelling? Are they nuts?

Even after New York was "agreed to" (presumably by Conor and crew and NOT the UFC - love how Kav speaks in half truths and riddles)???

How the FUCK could they think they would get away with this? They KNEW the man was in Iceland.

They simply didn't pay heed. So now Conor is taking their money away from them. Smart move, Conor! They'll learn how and when to schedule a press conference after this.

Not working with him in any capacity. Ludicrous! The man is in Iceland/Portugal/Ireland/Somewhere else!!!

Learn his fucking schedule, UFC!!! Geez....

Conor may be in timeout for a while as UFC demonstrates who really has the upper hand. I'm not surprised, mother fuckers.

I'm not buying any of this shit from COnor right now. He has blatantly lied already saying that he was retiring and that he was back on the card at 200. I hope this all comes out in the wash so we all get to know the real story but Conor has lost a ton of credibility recently. I'm not usually defending the UFC as they are known liars but this is a strange scenario altogether right here

Conor needs to fire his manager. Poor management.

Maybe he and his camp would rather not have that rematch.

Ever.

Conor could have been an all time legend if he just fucking retired after the first tweet.

Yeah you are right, the UFC should totally rearrange their schedule so that it fits Conor's...

Conor is gifted his rematch versus defending against Aldo or Edgar.

He's in on PPV points and would earn a cool 10+ million. A non-title fight with 2 guys who are NOT in the Top 10 is a disservice for the fan, but it was going to happen anyway because of Conor.

He's coming off a loss.

What the fuck else could the UFC have done for this kid?

Lmfao. Hey UFC reschedule you entire shit for one guppy.

Wait you dont want to reschedule everything for conor???? We dont understand......

Who the fuck do these guys think they are?

Then why ask for it? We weren't there for the talk and I usually think Dana and co. are full of it. But I believe him 100% that Mcgregor wanted it. He wanted the fight, he lobbied for the fight and he got what he wanted.

Aldo hasn't received a rematch. The only way that he would get a rematch is to learn to control other people with his mind, and may be not even then.

I thought the UFC caved into mma' biggest star's demands?

they're holding out hope cormier gets cleared to fight at 200 since they can't make a deal with gsp thanks to reebok, if they can't make cormier vs jones 2 expect to see conor at 200

Oh it's now how manager's fault? What's next he lost the fight to Nate because the water bottle wasn't cold enough?
Not what I said, not what I implied.
I just said that he is getting poor management.
Not blaming them 100%, but they are not managing their asset very well if this is the result.
Conor needs management that he gets good advice from and respects enough to listen to.

You are reading into things too much. Maybe you are too anxious to spout your hatred to see what is actually there.
You are filling in gaps all by yourself.
