If Khabib really wants to punish Conor he'll come in way overweight, and not bother with even a token attempt to cut. Not sure if there would be financial repurcussions or not, but it would probably be a non title fight so he'd have nothing to lose, and wouldn't be drained.

Also I have yet to see any actual evidence that Conor is smaller than he used to be.

He obviously does not look like he did at WW. But he is not fighting at WW. Also I never bought that he was 168 at his heaviest. He was definitely 170+.

If he is betting more on endurance (as it comes to his physique/weight) then this could be good for him or also a mistake in this fight specifically. He might need every muscle to defend TDs or try to get back up. It's not likely that he will be able to do that with footwork alone for the whole fight.

Also if smaller results in less power it will be more difficult to keep Khabib away from him or finish him early. He needs to get his respect at least and threaten with the KO on every exchange. If not Khabib's pressure could be too much.

And I have a hard time seeing a stick and move apporach from Conor.
