Dominated the entire first Rd without the threat of takedowns. No one has down that to Diaz. Others have beat him but took him down to keep him from getting off.

I think Conor wins 9 out of 10 fights against Diaz if they fight at lw. Conor simply gassed and got caught. If he doesn't gas carrying all that extra weight, he destroys Diaz and finishes him in Rd 2.

I'm even more impressed with Conor after this fight because I didn't think he would outclass him on the feet like that.

Damn I'm on the hype train and it's just picked up some speed.

Oh and respect to Diaz for showing up.

How can you make such a stupid thread bragging about Conor winning Round 1 in a fight where Nate Diaz had no training camp just flew back from laying out on the beach in Mexico, 2 weeks before the fight? Lol.
 
Round 1 was a close round - maybe Conor edged it at the end but leading up to that very close - nate was hitting Conor quite a lot. And if you winning the first round then gassing means your better and would win 9/10 that means that Chad also would beat Conor 9/10 times
