Conor took some damage to his head at 196. I dont think his jaw will be fully recovered by 200 and he will get himself KOd this time around. This is dangerous cause his jaw might never be the same after this. He should say no to fighting at 200 and let his jaw fully recover. But I guess the appeal of fighting at 200 is worth it for him.

But i think he will get KOd or TKOd at 200 cause his jaw will need more time to recover.

Agreed. Nate by TKO round 2 this time around. Conor knew he was about to get KO'd stiff but he went for the takedown. UFC 200 crossed his mind right before he dove for it.

You're speaking of the concussion effect where fighter's need to heal the brain fully before getting back in there, something Chad Mendes learned the hard way. Oh and Conor hadn't got a concussion.

Damn, haven't seen this picture shooped, and it has mighty potential.

Conor playing some mean violin here.

Disapointed you didn't squeeze one more "jaw" in there.

Also, Nate will be a lot sharper and on-point with a full training camp. I think he will be connecting cleanly a lot faster than last time.

I think hes the type to give advice and not follow it. I think his chinny chin chin was weakened by Mendes too. Chins can only go downhill imo.

Oh yes he did. His legs buckled and his eyes became foggy.

He got wobbled 2x, one was from a jab and then from the 1-2. His brain definitely smacked into his skull from that 1-2.

I hope the people saying this aren't the same ones who want Aldo to fight at 200 cos that motherfucker needs a year off

Getting hit hard doesn't always mean a concussion and from what I saw I don't expect a concussion. I'd say the two ground strikes before the choke would of come closer.

The haters will love this thread. First, conor was only rocked from anything nate through, cause he was gassed already. Mendes hits 3x harder than nate and never once rocked conor. Taking time off is when you are severely ko'd. conor was only stunned, cause he was already gassed...

You might have a point but he benefitted a lot from his panic wrestling and tapping rather than taking repeated blows. It's impossible to quantify and thus useless to speculate.

It may be fully recovered, it may not be. Not much else to say

According to the textbook definition of concussion, I would say that's exactly what happened Conor from Nate's one two.

always follow the money

But your legs buckling and your eyes getting foggy is a tell tale sign of a concussion.

Conor was concussed for sure. Whenever someone is "rocked" or "wobbled" they are concussed.

You obviously don't understand jack about striking.

A 170 lb Nate will hit much harder than 144 lb Mendes.

Precision beats power and Mendes never hit Conor flush even once. Nate tagged him on the BUTTON multiple times.

What causes a concussion/KO is being hit on the jaw, temple or behind the ear.

Even if Nate doesn't hit as hard as Mendes(which is bs, he hits harder, not to mention he hit Conor way more times than Mendes was able to), Nate hit Conor clean multiple times while Conor rolled with Chads punches.

Disagree...

He's getting TKO because this time Nate's workrate is gonna be even better.

He can try and modify his gameplan all he wants, but he'll most likely fall again in the same trap heavy hitters fall when facing a Diaz: Thinking that pitter-patter can't hurt me until it is too late.
