Whats not to understand? What TS is saying never has been done is: A Champion goes up in weight to challenge the CHAMPION in a higher weight class for the BELT. Silva took meh opponents at 205 but never had the cojones to fight Jones.

EDIT: Since the thread in getting derailed because I forgot about BJ Penn. TS is saying Conor will hold 2 belts simultaneously in 2 different weight classes (Not just challenge like BJ Penn did)

You do know in jones wasn't always champion in andersons reign... He was only champion for the last one which was the short notice bonnar fight to save a card in Brazil.

Randy's feat was even more impressive. He was inactive/retired AND he was much older than the dominant HW champ.

Randy also gave away a lot of reach, height and weight. Conor isn't giving away reach nor height. He's taller and longer. Weight is up for debate.

Never said Randy's win wasnt impressive. I was actually at the event live and the place went nuts. Anyway I was saying Randy wasnt champ at 205 at the time.
