KJ murks Conor at 155

Conor was never able to do this to Nate

Just like Conor, he fought Nick Diaz rematch at 170 and was too small and got murked

A KJ Noons thread on the day of one of the biggest events in ufc history, in the year 2016.

I really hope we can follow this up with a Tra Telligman post next! Lol jk.

KJ was actually pretty good at that time.

KJ is a decent fighter but I feel like if he's as technical as he should be he wouldn't have got clipped by Krazy Horse (who I love). I feel like Conor would just a much more diverse attack and that would do very well for him in this fight. I could be wrong. Maybe I'm underestimating Noons. I may still be bitter than he beat my boy Diaz. :(

Diaz was completely ready to go for round 2. Doesn't count!!!

KJ didn't lose the rematch to Nick at 170 because he was too small, he lost because Nick simply outboxed him. KJ did extremely well in that fight, he actually did better against Nick on the feet than most people did around that period of Nick's career, Nick was smashing everybody BADLY at the time.

I'm right there with you. Blood isn't going to stop a Diaz brother. It's just not right. I was so bummed after that fight. As unprofessional as it was I love how he made a scene and walked off. He seriously is incapable of giving a single fuck and I love it. It's refreshing.

KJ had so much potential. His head movement in that first Diaz fight was something you just don't see in MMA. Wish he took his career more seriously. He's produced some of the most brutal KO's. He damn near looked like he was pistol whipping Yves Edwards!

One awesome fact about that fight is Nick changed his stance to orthodox the entire length of the fight for the one and only time.

Prime KJ was an excellent boxer. I wish he would have stayed boxing just to see how far he made it. Conor vs KJ I could see going either way. Conor's jab would give Noons problems. Noons has reach that may give Conor problems.

KJ is the most overrated "boxer" in mma. He makes boxers look bad. He got out boxed by nick diaz ffs. He sucks.

Lana had one decent showing in his entire career and the most overrated boxing I can think of. I am not a Conor fan but he would brutalize Noons.

Prime KJ Noons...there's a new one.

Nothing against the guy but c'mon. Noons had two big wins in his career. Diaz and I'm going to count his quick throttling of Yves Edwards as well. But that is it. Noons at his best is still topped by any top 10 fighter at 155 and most top 10 fighters at 145.

Conor vs prime Penn

Now theres a fight

kj is one of the most hyped overrated fighters to ever fight. His boxing was so overrated for this sport, and I know he had some legit credentials coming into mma but he showed spurts of excellence with major amounts of mediocrity and general pedestrian level stand up skills. His tdd was fantastic and his hair is absolutely gorgeous.

KJ had a hell of a chin and he was a great boxer. I think he would have had a great shot against Conor. I don't think either guy would get finished but if anyone went down I think it would have been Conor. I've scarcely winced harder during an MMA fight than watching Noons annihilate Jorge Gurgel's brain with that punch and knee.

I do think KJ has a better chin. Conor's chin is average to be honest.
