I'll bet on Conor but root for Nate, If Conor manages to lose 2/3 to Nate diaz he'll be the most overrated fighter on the roster tbh. Nate diaz should be an easier opponent every time you fight him, he hardly does anything to actually adapt and improve. I hope Diaz can survive the onslaught but 155lbs Conor isn't gonna fade until late in the third so I don't know if Diaz can survive that late.

One thing we know for sure is that Nate Diaz will be around until the 5th round and won't get finished but we are just highly unsure whether Conor makes it to the 5th round.

To put it short the only guy who can get finished in this fight is Conor. Nate Diaz will arrive to the 5th round easily.

I just don't see Conor winning this fight if Nate takes him seriously. If nate pushes the pace and start doing relentless pressure... Conor will be gone within 3-4 rounds hence why I have said previously Nate is the favourite in this fight in every single angle you look at it

Nate has all the tools he needs to win the fight, he just has to use them correctly but Nate is also the kinda guy to go out there and just wing it.

I expect Conor's game plan to be somewhat similar to his last one, possibly even more conservative.

I want Nate to win but I predict Conor to fight smarter than him and take it.

Nate can definitely win this fight, but i give the edge to Conor, and for several reasons.

1. Gameplanning. These two fighters are familiar with each other's styles. Nate seems to be the kind of fighter who focus on his fight and doesn't overly adjust or react this opponent. McGregor approached the second fight differently and paid off for him. I think he'll be even better prepared for a third bout.
2. Nate's inactivity. I know, I know, the legend of Cabo Nate lives on. But eventually it's got to degrade his sharpness in the cage.
3. If it's at 155, that's slightly better for Conor imo.

To me the big question is what happens when McGregor inevitably gasses? Can he recover when Nate sense he is slowing down and swarms him. He did a good job in the second fight of avoiding taking much serious damage.
