Not saying conor can't/won't win, but Khabib is going to be a hell of a lot harder to knockdown. And he makes it no secret...he's going to come out full speed and pressure Conor. So conor either gets him early or starts fighting off of his back. If Khabib survives two rounds the fight will be pretty much over.

How many times does little old Frankie have to lose for you sherbros to get off his nuts? He lost to Bendo 2X. Lost to Aldo 2X. Lost to Brian Ortega. And all that was in the UFC. 1. Khabib has a chin and never gets rocked. Eddie's chin is shot, and gets rocked at least once per fight.
2. Khabib has ridiculously effective wrestling. Eddie doesn't.
3. Conor is too much of a coked up pussy to fight Khabib.

What you described sounds much more reminiscent of Conor vs Aldo and/or Marquardt vs Maia (which is how I see the fight going) than it does Conor vs Eddie - A one hit kill shot that ends the fight before it even really gets going. Khabib getting dropped multiple times like Eddie did would make my night too, though.

He got tuned up twice by not-gassed Maynard, then dominated by Aldo twice. And he actually got beaten worse the second time, which should have killed all hype, especially when we know that Aldo isn't even the top of the mountain anymore. Then he got starched by a BJJ guy who didn't even break a sweat.

By all means, be a fan. But speaking of him as more of a contender than a gatekeeper at this point is just delusional.
