Media Conor slams at Khabib on Twitter

uhh maybe because conor has legit quit in several fights, and has retired about 4 times. so him criticizing anyone about quitting or running away is hilarious and hypocritical. conor is the definition of a quitter

So what you're saying is Conor is absolutely right that he has kept fighting unlike Khabib.

Thanks for playing.

Says tweet is unavailable, does that mean he's deleted it?

I've never seen two dudes that collect rent in each others head so much.

Considering Khabib retired with 4 top 5 wins in his career, I believe Conor is on to something here

Khabib made a career out of diving at Wikipedia Greys with losing records’ feet and missing weight several times, not to mention, Khabibs own coach said Coke Conor coming off a boxing match that made him 130+ mil was Khabibs hardest fight, let that sink in.
Khabib has 5 top 5 wins to McGregor's 3 top 5 wins

He retired after he missed weigh but UFC let him pass. And got hospitalized twice. LMAO. His so called legacy is tarnished. McGregor would beat the living shit out of that pull out merchant if they ever rematch.

Like I said...hate on sir.
Fact is he's undefeated, and one hell of a coach, barely hit his whole career.

I can see why a fan of Conor would hate him.

Hate Khabib all you want, but he retired and hasn't come crawling back like so many of out past heroes.

Right, that's the problem. He keeps talking shit but stays retired. If you're retired then shut the fuck up about guys you have no plan on fighting.

If someone like Cormier spent every event talking shit about the present LHWs and HWs and how he could still beat them none of you would accept it. You'd tell him to unretire and go prove it instead of talking from the sidelines. Same with practically every other fighter. In fact, you're all doing it with Conor over these tweets in that he should fight them instead of tweeting at them. With Khabib meanwhile it's silence.

The hypocrisy shows.

He's literally fought 2x since Khabib retired and is in the midst of returning again from his injury. In what way is he incorrect?

Enjoy the Sherdog likes though.

*He's literally lost 2x since Khabib retired and is in the midst of returning again from his injury.

Fixed that for you... enjoy his nuts resting against your chin. <{Heymansnicker}>

When fighters retire I never want them to come back under any circumstances.
Im someone that actually likes the fighters and appreciate all they gave me.

If Hagler was talking shit I wouldn't want him to come back.

no, im saying conor has quit about 8 times now. maybe because he has so much experience in quitting and giving up that he feels he's an expert on the topic?

So "I fight on" is correct?

Thanks for playing.

Khabib has 5 top 5 wins to McGregor's 3 top 5 wins

<Dany07>

Poirier #5
Mendes #1
Aldo (c)
Nate #4
Eddie (c)
Cerrone #5

Math is hard

Nate and Cerrone aren't ranked at WW when he fought them, also Cerrone being top 5 after 2 ko losses in a row is just lame and was obviously kept at #5 to sell McGregor's win

Conor is right. For Khabib the thought of a loss is a stronger feeling than the thought of a win.

The tiny possibility of loss outweighs the thrill of an almost sure win.

I say that because he would be a favorite over anybody he fought, but the more he fights the greater the chance of a loss. That's MMA for you, people sometimes slip on banana peels and lose fights. In his mind there is probably an only 1% chance he loses any fight, but that 1% chance is just too much.
Not a bad way to put it -- honestly I don't feel this is a slight at Khabib either. It's hard to say how much truth there is to it, but it very well may be. Fearing a loss is very much so human nature. Hell, I know I've had my bouts with that fear with women when I used to be single and scared as shit of getting rejected. Khabib's career was a great one, but I don't feel it's a stretch to wish he had a little longer of a career. I respect that he retired 100% though and regardless of the reason hope he is truly happy doing what he does as a fantastic coach.

seriously are you illiterate or something? do you not know what the word hypocrisy means? you dont want retired fighters to talk about guys they'll never fight....so conor should shut the fuck up then right? he's legit retired oh 5 or 6 times and yet continues to talk about people. he has zero intentions of ever fighting khabib (hell, he'll probably never fight anyone with a pulse again, this is the guy who called out the corpse of diego sanchez for a fight) , but has to threaten him about once a month. and who has khabib threatened, or and said he would fight since he's retired? i legit cant think of a single person. so what the fuck are you even talking about? i can understand being a fan of someone and disliking another fighter but some of yall are just straight up weirdos. the mental gymnastics some of yall have to do to justify your shit opinions would win you a gold medal at the special olympics.

The funny thing is Poirier and Khabib did such a number on this guy that he will never be able to get over them. Those losses will haunt him forever, and there's nothing he can do about it. No matter how many watches and boats he buys, nothing will be able to fill that void.

Yeah -- it's tough to judge people I've never met such as Conor, and I certainly am a fan of his, but if his public statements are anything to go by, it certainly says to me that he would trade every penny he received from the Mayweather fight as well as subsequent fights to get his loss from Khabib back, and Poirier (probably to a lesser degree). You couldn't offer me any money to live Conor's life after those losses. Selfishly, I'd like to see Conor come back to MMA, but a part of me isn't looking forward to the potential trash talk and circuses that would inevitably ensue. I like Conor when he is respectful towards others more than writing checks he can't cash. There are many fun fights for him if he comes back to compete.

Cerrone was #4 when he lost to #1 Ferguson and #5 Gaethje. He rightfully just swapped places with Justin after he lost to him. And he was #5 for over 2 months before the Conor fight even was announced.

In fact, the only rankings change leading up to the fight was a month before the fight Conor himself dropped from #3 to #4, swapping with Justin.

So the only "rankings fuckery" that occurred was NEGATIVE to Conor, and actually made the fight actually closer in that it was now #4 vs #5 instead of #3 vs #5.
