conor should vacate the 145 belt, the weight cut is too dangerous for his health, he should stay at LW and climb the rankings, look at him compared to pearson he would be big even at LW and it won't affect his health, also if you think conor is "too weak" for LW just because nate held him on the fence for some time you're wrong cause nate did that to rory too

he's a champion at 145 and just got finished by the #6 ranked LW who fought without a camp. i'd say he has to force himself to go cancer patient again and make that cut if he wants to stay a big star

While it may be in the best interest of his health it's not gonna happen. Conor has to regroup and remind everyone why he's "The Greatest" and that means going back to the division he currently stands atop of.

there are many factor to consider, he has to adapt to the weight, also many 155 wouldn't survive those strikes that made nate all bloody in 1 round, he had a bad strategy too, he can do it

It's very hard to cut back down when your body has adjusted to a weight class. It's hard to lose muscle. That's why boxers almost always move up in weight and are never able to go back.

Conor just needs to rethink his strategy at 155. He's not going to steamroll the larger guys the same as 145 without an effective game plan.

yea he should stay at 155 no matter what

why would he give up a coveted belt to fight in a weightclass where he couldnt even beat the division's gatekeeper who had 0 day training camp
i said there are many factors to consider, also after cerrone lost to nate he did great and got title shots

giving up the belt isnt exactly an easy thing to do. i sure as hell wouldnt. what if he gives it up gets wrecked at 155. tries going back to 145 but his ego is shot and he cant win it back there either

that cut is dangerous i hope that after his next fight at FW he goes to LW

Well I for one TS hope he does stay at 155 and hope there's many more like you out there that believe he'll do well there so Conor is the betting favorite.

I love easy money.

Maybe, but consider what he has to go through man.

Edson Barboza 5'11" and as slick on the feet as they come
Showtime Pettis 5'9" heavy offensive arsenal
Eddie Alvarez 5'10" 27-4 guy that can wrestle
RDA 5'9" has a total game
Khabib 5'10" 22-0 wrestler
Tony Ferguson 6'0" and crazy
Nate Diaz 6'0" and just beat Conor

this. As someone else mentioned, he was finished by the #6 guy at LW. A man thr current champ destroyed. His brand lost a lot of its leverage losing that fight. I know he went up in went but when a fighter markets themself in the way that conor does loses of the manner hurt your product. He needs to go back to the hill he's king of to bring that dominating aura back. He says he can make that tough cut so let him. He hasn't even defended his belt yet. He needs multiple defenses before we start talking super fights again. Without any defenses he's far from cleaned out that division. If he wants to leave FW, then leave the belt behind but as it sits niw, Conor was just dominated by the #6 LW.

rda was knocked out in the past, nate is different

How is nate different?Josh Thompson tko Nate diaz. Lw is completely diff from fw, they will take Conors best shots and throw it right back at him. Nate is not even known as a heavy hitter, yet Conor was wobble by a basic 1 2. I don't think Michael Johnson was even wobble against Nate diaz.
