Mcgregor defended the belt 3 months ago, ffs.....

Couture went over a year without fighting and wasnt stripped.....and he was saying the whole time he didn't want to fight in the ufc....he still didn't get stripped.

Listen, any dominant champion would get a title fight a weightclass above, if they just went for it.
Anderson didn't want to, GSP didn't want to, Jones has not yet done so (though he might). BJ got a title shot as well at WW immediately after moving up.
Don't turn it around on McGregor being "gifted" anything, just because past champs didn't dare.

If Conor doesn't want to defend the 145 championship belt then he should be stripped of it immediately. He cant go running around saying he is done at 145 or talk about retiring and keep the belt. Dana should have already stripped him of the belt and stop the nonsense. Conor should either defend the belt or get it yanked from him.
