Media Conor Shadowboxing at TUF Gym, Looking Stiff as a Board

Of course there's stiffness, he's in a 3 piece suit that looks to be a size or two too small. I'm amazed the seams at the shoulders held thru that :D

I don't doubt that he's less mobile than before, but I don't think there are many performance related conclusions to be drawn from this clip.

He didn’t look that bad, and he was wearing a suit. Definitely had a little Coke moment there at the end, but maybe he’s just hyped up…

Funny he can’t see that his style has become what he used to take apart in his prime
Seemed that way in the second Poirier fight and Khabib.

Rewatching the third Poirier bout, was surprised how good he looked though.

Looked closer to the old Conor than anything else we'd seen post Floyd.

The Poirier fight where he was forced to panic wrestle and snapped his leg, or the Poirier fight where he got knocked out?

The second and also the Khabib bout, his movement just wasn't there relative to his peak years.

Conor historically fights very well off the back foot, his movement is like 80% of his ability to defend strikes, so when the calf kicks crippled him in that regard, he was a sitting duck.

But you could see the adjustments made in the third fight. He was a lot closer to his peak years in that regard than what we've seen since Floyd.

Fair point, would be inclined to agree
