Too bad the card sucks. I’m not paying $70 for one fight that’s also a rematch of a fight that wasn’t competitive.

I just noticed Hooker vs Chandler is the co main now. I like that fight but it’s not enough to make me buy a PPV with two WMMA fights on it.

People love to bring up this mythical 2016 Conor. The 2016 version that put a clinic on Eddie is also the same version that ran/lost to Diaz. I believe he has gotten better now, he lost to the best LW in Khabib, but then starched Cerrone in 40 seconds without taking a hit at 170lbs. Cerrone went on to have ok fights against Price and Pettis

but those are about as good as fights at lightweight get. and theres 2 of them! On top of that, people generally speak of LW as the best division in the UFC currently, So you're getting 3/5 top 5 guys. So if those 2 fights can't get you to buy the card really, what 2 fights would be enough?

Of all elite UFC fighters, Conor is one of those guys who changed and evolved the least throughout his UFC career. He was so ahead of the game at first, and also so close to his ceiling. He really isn't much different now than when he beat Marcus Brimage, mostly he developed a good high pressure offensive game since then instead of just being a counter puncher.
