Seems to be, if you're not including retired guys like Mike Tyson or dead ones like Muhammad Ali.

On the other hand, out of just about 8 billion people, 4.5 billion of which have Internet access (Google for this), 10 millions views is very small (0.2%). More than anything else, that shows just how tiny a sport MMA is. Its pretty discouraging actually. No one really believed Dana when he said MMA was going to be the biggest sport in the world, but over a billion watched the last FIFA world cup, its crazy just how much smaller even the most popular MMA fighter is than soccer.

Or compare it to a top Youtube trend like say Gangnam style which got billions of hits. MMA is very, very niche.

McGregor is the most popular active combat fighter. But check the views on his KO's (4 million) compared to Tyson and Ali (both over 30 million). He's got a long way to go (and its pretty easy to predict he'll never become a cultural icon like Ali was and still is).
