Conor mentally breaking Dustin

It drives me crazy how some of you butcher Dustin's name.
Its Poi-ri-er.
It's 2 i.
Dustin's wife is a dime piece

cONNOR NEEDS TO WORK ON HIS OWN MENTALITY SO HE DONT TAP AT THE FIRST SIGN OF TROUBLE .NOT ONCE DID HE TRY TOHAND FIGHT A CHOKE . THATS A PREDISPOSSISION TO TAPPING
Porier also tapped juz sayin.

probably overwhelmed by the moment, not calm, chinny.

Dustin has to literally tune out Conor up until the fight, but he is too dumb to do it. He is going to get caught up in the Conor show, the press, the interviews etc. He will be worn out by the time the fight arrives.

Thats why Nate did so well. He does not give a fuck.

Nate did so well because he is great at getting the shit beat out of him but not going unconscious... look at masvidal fight.

I could work my ass off at golf and still never beat Dustin Johnson. That's what we have here I'm afraid. Nothing in that first fight suggests that Dustin can overcome Conor's natural abilities, and Dustin actually had more fights than Conor going into that first fight.

This is gonna be a easy fight for conor. Dustin striking defense was horrible vs hooker, been in too many wars with Eddie and justin. Sherdog gonna be sad asf after Mcgregor makes it look easy.

So has Conor

Ehhhh not so much. That was Conor's problem, he came into the UFC as a crafty striker who utilized alot of good spinning attacks and pinpoint accuracy at early part of his career. But once the money and fame came where has he shown you that he's improved? The shoulder strikes to Cerrone who had been beaten badly twice and KO'd within 6 months of fighting Conor? Was it the mauling that Khabib gave him and even got dropped by Khabib? Was it Floyd toying with him in the boxing ring before getting saved from going to the shadow realm with a few more punches from a smaller man?

Conor is a great striker, but his wrestling is subpar, his cardio is still trash despite spending 500k+ on training camps. He hardly throws any spinning attacks anymore because as his size has increased that means using more fuel to the muscles on his already poor cardio condition. If Dustin can grapple hard for the first two rounds and make Conor constantly work then he will be in trouble. But if Dustin gets into a fire fight he will get KO'd quickly again.

Yes he's promoting the fight but it would be foolish to not think he is still dangerous. People just don't like him for whatever reason, could be the money/jealousy/attention/stuff he says, whatever it might be. He's lost to the very best who are undefeated, who everyone else lost to as well. But all the other fighters don't get the same hate towards them as Conor does. He avenged his loss to Nate, but the others are to the very best undefeated fighters. If he wins in devastating fashion he can talk again and it will be respected/feared. He was that type of fighter before and he can be again, it's just a matter of winning his next fights in impressive fashion. Ngannou was able to turn it around, Conor can also.
Ngannou is hungry, Conor isn't. Doesn't mean he can't win, but it's just a fact.
As for this, "People just don't like him for whatever reason, could be the money/jealousy/attention/stuff he says, whatever it might be."
I can tell you why I don't like him:

- He picks his fights.
- He never defended either of his belts, instead he held 2 divisions hostage for over a year, carrying around belts he had no intention of defending.
- He made a ton of excuses after losing to Khabib, and lobbied for a rematch he didn't deserve
- instead of fighting Gaethje or Tony (who were both free) he fought Cowboy who was on a 2 fight losing streak.
- he cheated numerous times in the fight against Khabib

There's plenty of reasons not to like him that have nothing to do with jealousy, his money, etc.

Its just such an honor to be part of Conors journey even as a fan because he will go down as one of the most legendary humans to have ever lived and its happening in my lifespan.

There's always a counter argument to everything.

- What fights did he pick (plural)? Everyone is giving him shit only for Cowboy fight. But that fight made sense because of Cowboy's name recognition and both coming from a loss. Yes, he could've fought someone else higher ranked, but now he is fighting the number 2 ranked and will most likely fight Gaethje in the future if both win their next fights. Other than that who did he cherry pick? He fought everyone, even when fighters pulled out he fought the replacements. He has fought who people considred P4P best not just in mma but in boxing as well.

- He was going after bigger goals than a simple defense which he achieved by being the first double champ. Those overall for his legacy is a better achievement than a few title defense. Only when you get to the numbers that GSP, Jones, Anderson, Mighty Mouse get to is when it's considered a great achievement. Very few double champs overall, and he's been able to do something that people on that list wasn't able to do (besides GSP, and Jones is going to try and achieve it). It's much harder and bigger accomplishment beating a champion in a higher weight class than depending a title from a title challenger. He was focused on fighting champions.

- You say Ngannou is hungry and Conor isn't, the argument can be made that he wasn't focused enough for the Khabib fight. If you don't think Conor deserves a rematch considering their backstory, drama, selling potential, then who does deserve a rematch? Nothing wrong with analyzing a lost and seeing where the mistakes were made, it's not all about excuses, it's trying to figure out what went wrong and what to fix. How else do you learn from a loss? Just pretend it never happened and say I lost to a better fighter and move on? No, you analyze every detail of that fight including the training and mental state leading up to the fight, and everything during the fight.

- He's fighting Dustin, number 2 ranked. Will fight Gaethje in the future if they both win their next fights.

- It's a fight, there's always eye pokes, fence grabbing, shorts pulling, groin strikes, etc. It didn't change the outcome of the fight so it's a moot point.

Either way not everyone has to be a fan of each fighter, everyone has their opinions and will support the fighters they support. I just see Conor get way more hate from certain fanbases compared to other fighters.

You cant help but laugh at the age old comments that every fighter that is up for a rematch against Conor, is greatly improved.
So someone, anyone tell me what has improved so much with Dustin that he now suddenly wont melt the very moment the cage door gets shut ?
This is nothing but another easy tune up for Mcgregor.
The reality is, there is only one fighter that has the edge over Mcgregor, and thats Khabib, and only if Mcgregor doesnt bother to show up like in his first fight with him.

He's had 1 rematch where he ran away and got saved by the bell with Nate on top of him in a fight that was called a majority decision.
