I found out recently McGregor blew his ACL out against Holloway, and then only like four fights later he blew it out again during training camp. That can't be a good sign for a long career; will Conor's ACL eventually become irreparable like Rory's nose? Will his career be cut short because of Holloway?

That highly depends on the success of the surgery and on the success of his rehab as well as the way he trains in gerneral. It could be perfectly fine now

Touch-butt is the panacea for ACLs and all other injuries, he'll be fine.

Fighter's like Nurmagomedov and Cruz who blew out their ACL's shortly after coming back. Whether they rushed back too quick or not, wouldn't surprise me, but it's interesting reading a lot of fighters who suffer long term injuries and it's only then they realise they're killing themselves in training.

No, but his recurring losses to Nate will.

ACL would be the least of his worries if Nate Diaz punches him into a panic wrassler for a second time.

No. He got enough money to get best doctors on the planet to repair his leg.

But it's happened twice. That's not a good sign that the first surgery/rehab went well at all. A healthy human body should not be housing the same exact injury twice in the span of a year.

Nah, he is fine. Look at Cruz it's like nothing happened.

I understand your point of view. Maybe he just overtrain. This is one of the most common mistakes maked by pro fighters. They injure themselves all the time because they train too hard or too often. No time to rest if there is so much to learn huh? :D

I know this from my expierience. I also had few injuries when i trained MMA. I twisted my foot, my knee ( i was lucky i didnt twist it too much ), broken nose, bruised evrywhere. When i was preparing to my BJJ ( It was mostly BJJ school not typical MMA gym ) debute my cruciate ligament started to hurt me very badly after few hard sessions in the gym of squating. You have to know your body well to be good fighter also. Maybe Conor just dont know his max body treshold yet.

I tore my ACL once and that put me out of training for 9 months, its a terrible injury that im sure Conor would do his best to rehab.

Could easily end his career if he doesn't though.

the knees blowing up is actually his back up plan for when he's losing fights he can blow up his knee and blow up his opponent. Just he panicked against Nate and didn't get a chance to use it.

The only thing that will seriously dent McG's career is a tall drink of water from that region they call the two-oh-nine.

Once you blow out your ACL once, you have an increased risk of blowing it out again.

And really mobile and agile fighters like Cruz and Mcgregor will always risk blowing out their ACL more than the static fighters do
