Conor McGregor: Welcome to McGregor Inc. @MonsterEnergy

This thread is hilarious. The amount of flak Connor is catching by being sponsored by an energy drink... You are all sad people that are upset by this. Monster is a HUGE company that has a ton of exposure. If anything this could bring more fans to mma, and why not watch someone polarizing like McGregor?

Fucking goofs

Sherdog needs Jesus, or Dr Phil.

Everytime i see this i laugh.

You have never seen bad tattoos then.
Conors tattoos are actually very well done , and im sure they have meaning to him.

So what exactly makes them bad tattoos? The fact that you wouldnt get it on your body? You sound dumb.

I don't sound dumb because I didn't say anything. Why so salty ?

Those monster tattoo pictures have to be fake.

Yes, being a motogp legend means a lot, outside of the U.S. Rossi is an icon in Italy. Same with F1 who traditionally has more viewers per event than any sport outside of the olympics and world cup. Lewis Hamilton who IS sponsored by Monster will sign a BASE salary contract in the coming weeks, in the range of 30 to 40 million per year.

So yea...if its good enough for Hamilton, its good enough for a 5th ranked cage fighter.

lel, I live in a country next door to Italy and pretty much no one here gives 2 fucks about MotoGP
Lot of people heard of Rossi, but I do not know a single person actually watching MotoGP

and the times I catch it on tv, I am not seeing huge crowds on these events

I believe cycling is a bigger sport in europe than MotoGP lol

yes, we all know F1 is famous
I was just wondering whether or not Hamilton was actually sponsored by Monster since F1 teams (especially the big ones) get only sponsored by only the biggest/richest companies

Also, congrats to Conor. He keeps raking in those sponsorships.

What do you qualify as a 'big company'? Monster Beverage Company's market cap is over $24 billion dollars, is that wht you would call a 'small fry', Richie Rich?

which is why I emphasized Rossi himself and not Motogp's figures.

In the end, the UFC isnt big enough for MMA fans to turn their noses up at a company like Monster, as if their fighters are above it.

It's weird but the gorilla has actually started to grow on me, can't see that happening with the tiger, but who knows.

Or maybe the tiger's cheesyness makes the gorilla look better by comparison.

I actually never minded the gorilla tat, but the tiger one is awful for sure.. the art of it is fine, but the placement.. terrible.

So at the post-fight press conference he'll be toasting his $10,000 whiskey as usual but now he'll also have to have a some Bud Light there too, and some Monster energy drink.

He's gonna be pretty fucked up by the end of the press conference if he drinks all that.

...oh shit...that Tiger belly tattoo is real? I thought somebody posted that as a joke. LOL. Wow. Oh well, get that paper Conor.

Good for him, Monster is huge. The actual drink is terrible but he won't need to drink it very much lol

I was surprised Monster got so big as quickly as they did and equally surprised it took someone so long to try. Seemed like a no-brainer for someone to start competing with Red Bull. Especially with the size of the drink and the cost.

I haven't really followed the ebb and flow of the energy drink market but I'm assuming Monster is still doing pretty well. I am pretty sick of Conor but I have to respect his business acumen. The guy knows how to strike when the iron is hot. The guy, barring some freak occurrence, is gonna be able to make his money and retire young. Imagine if he actually wins a belt?

Hat tip Conor you annoying but effective businessman!

I'm not a huge monster fan but do like their re-hab drinks...

Good for Conor to get the money while he can...

I don't think he's getting past Aldo, and even if he does. Then he's gonna have a tough row to hoe when he ends up fighting the elite wrestlers @ 145

horrible tattoos....and Permanent
