The biggest story about that main event tonight was it showed Conor quits on the ground. In the Mendes fight, he didn't want to work from the bottom and tonight he simply gave up on the ground. They say one learns most from his losses and it should be no different to Conor's stubborn self.
Conor's biggest fault was his loyalty to SBG. They don't have legit wrestling or jj partner's and coaches. Conor prides himself training with his own, but it limits him as a developing fighter. That's why I'm flat out predicting he will leave SBG perhaps sometime this year. I know he's all about loyalty..but he needs to work with a actual team. Let's face it, Frankie is going to go straight for the takedown and perhaps get the sub easier than Nate. Conor needs to be on a team that will improve his overall game. I honestly think he needs to do what GSP did and make a effort to train with elite minds. He has so much unique talent for this game, why not maximize your skills.
