Champion fights same contenders as other contenders. Practically there is no difference in beating same human in a competition with a prize involved or not, if format is the same (5 round fight). Title defenses are illusional awards basically.
 
Oh, my goodness, look at all these inconquerable alphas. Obviously they are using their past experience as ACTUAL fighters who got in the ring when they are criticizing a two-weight class champ. Obviously, right? I'm sure each of them would be twice the man Conor is in the cage.

Otherwise why would they be so willing to speak comfortably behind their keyboards?

There's one big difference there's a belt on the line, that's the difference that matters as champ can you defend your belt successfully. you can pick & pull every thread you want don't change the fact Champs defend their belts that's what real champs do and why that stat is highly respected successful title defenses it don't change because it's Conor.

He has a good chin but has no heart. Conor panicked the the first time nate, khabib and dustin hit him in the face. Conor tried to let the ref stop the fight against khabib in the 2nd but realized herb dean wasn't stopping it and decided to get back up on his feet. Conor probably has a no hitting him in the face clause for his sparring partners so he doesn't know what it's like to weather a striking storm

Yeah mostly. He showed heart against Mendes and against Diaz in their second fight. But it's fair to characterize him as not having much heart.

Although quit when his leg hurt might not be the best way to described how the Poirier rematch ended. Looked like McGregor got fired by his boss before he had a chance to quit.

He needs to go away because he never defended a belt, not once. he talks a big game but for the last 6 years he is 3-3, not some magical god or anything. Tired of his WWE style crap as well.
