I only care about anything Conor related if it's a fight announcement. Why don't we ever get sparring footage about Edgar, Poirier, Khabib, etc?

Not sure, probably because Conor is the biggest name of those guys you listed and all of them have fought frequently. Sparring tape for them wouldn't be much different than them fighting in the octagon

Conor has fought 1 time in 3 years

I made them into gifs because you can't link an instagram story. If they become bugged or if they break @bigwaverider I'm counting on you to get a new version

Stance is a lot lower than it used to be
Holy fuck you are a loser, time to get a life TS.

I don't like how hesitant he looks, and it's something he's looked like a lot lately.

He was at his best when he was fearless, and didn't give a shit about what his opponent was doing as he knew he had the better shot. I mean, his most famous KO was in the midst of an exchange with Aldo, that he avoided the brunt because he'd backed out of it by inches while he hit Aldo flush. He knew he had the better shot so he took it.

Same reason he flying kneed Mendes 4 seconds into the fight. He literally just didn't care. Mendes immediately took him down, but Conor immediately got right back up. What Mendes did didn't matter to him.

Nowadays he wants to wait for the perfect shot instead of creating it. "Overanalysis leads to paralysis" as GSP put it.

He is taking a raging Al approach to striking.

Yea I thought that as well, but it looks a bit better than this

After the injury he said he's going to go back to his old way of training and be a lot more aware of the body.

The newer footage looks similar to this

If you watch the vid, he barely threw a punch. Was kind of just moving around and reacting. Idk what he'll look like when he returns

Looks like he's stuck in the mud, mate.

Maybe we can get a pensioner for him to spar with next?

Looks crisp AF!

Shertards hate McGregor so much you can't post anything positive about the man without getting called a nuthugger.

They'll all be back on his dick if he gets a win.

Being a remarkably low character individual is a double edged sword.

On one hand, when he was penniless he was driven to invest all of his time and bandwidth into getting famous. I’m not sure if he can read or not, but it’s not like Colin was it there reading books, pursuing other interesting hobbies or taking care of friends and family. Now he’s famous, so any drive that he has to win fights again is purely driven by ego. And I’m not sure that’s going to be a powerful enough motivator not that he greed and narcissism have be satiated. Moreover, his lack of a moral compass is likely to result in more and more distractions. It’s a lot to overcome.

He became a stuck in the mud 155er in the end.

OMG
That audience is more respectful and silent than Japanese Prides..

Not much you can take from light sparring footage, but this flat footed approach to striking is gonna get him hurt.
My thoughts exactly. He looked terrible here. Conor's been figured out.

He's got a good left counter, that's it. Just circle left and watch out for his pawing lead hand trap he'll lose every fight. Too 1 dimensional, too flatfooted.

Nah. Conor needs to adapt his style, he can't use the fast reflexes and counters forever and he's been slowing down noticeably over the last few years. His inside game has always been he's weak point, as soon as he's in range he gets tagged and seems lost. This is good, however I don't think it will matter that much against Khabib.
