I'll see what I can do about finding a publisher for this novel sir.
I still love you dearly despite your flaws![]()
I'd graciously ask you to write the foreword

Conor obviously has a good understanding of grappling. However If you are trying to compare him to other fighters who are dedicated ground specialists, it's a clearly going to make him look like a poor man's grappler.
It's probably true to some degree who you get your black belt from matters. But imo at the end of the day what belt you have around your waist does not matter. Jon Jones was submitting people with his white belt.

That's cool, we'll cry it out in my backyard, might be illuminating for both of us sir lol.
I respect long rants like his, but my brain is so fried from life that I have a hard time reading and comprehending it all.
Not his fault.
You have no idea how tempting that sounds.
McRunner is the reincarnation of Rolls.

Lol dude you can’t be serious. I refuse to believe a logical person would actually say what you’re saying without trolling. All that typing and you have ZERO justification for Conor getting a black belt. What justifies it? Go on. Point to some black belt level grappling we've seen from him.
I'll wait.
When you inevitably give up and try to change the topic, just stop. Just move along. Defending this is laughable. Conor doesn't know you exist and isn't going to pay you.
Even if he was practicing bjj for just an hour every other week he would still be good enough for a black belt by now.
He's never subbed anyone in his career that I know of sir.
In a mixed martial arts contest. BJJ belts are not awarded based on that.
That’s all well and good that you think that, but someone else might say that the only thing that matters is if you have the skills of a black belt. If practicing once every two weeks gets you the skills eventually, then that’s all that matters. That’s my view anyway. No one that practices one hour every two weeks should ever be awarded a black belt unless the circumstances are extenuating. That infrequency would also make it very tough to improve and absorb knowledge at a significant rate.
It's not a matter of how much money you spend or how much cumulative time you've spent on a mat. Practicing that infrequently would be a clear sign you're not taking things seriously, especially if you're supposed to be training as a high-level mixed martial artist. Anyone that awards a black belt to someone who practices one hour every fourteen days should be slapped, especially if the resources are available to them whenever they want.
True. Matt Hughes is another example - hitting a "Farmaconda" on Almeida, and outgrappling others while not officially having any BJJ belt.Conor obviously has a good understanding of grappling. However If you are trying to compare him to other fighters who are dedicated ground specialists, it's clearly going to make him look like a poor man's grappler.

Either way, none of that matters. I have no idea how often Conor trains bjj. For all I know he could be doing it a few hours every day.
No, normally they are awarded based on tournaments, and mastering each belt through the progression sir.
