More like he stands still in a karate stance and counters well. This guy has movement leaps....LEAPS and bounds better than McGregor. Not even the same ballpark.
Although McGregor is the best at one thing, he is the best at convincing people he is the best. Its almost like he uses some form of mass hypnotism that only works on what will later be known as McGregorites.

Yes. One of the nefarious means he has of convincing people he's the best appears to be thrashing an entire division and making it look easy, including knocking out one of the best fighters of all time in 13 seconds. The swine!

I'm sure I could go back to your childhood and find you getting beat up. How is this any different. He had very little experience. was barely out of his pimply faced teenage years.
Gotta love the haters though. Where are the guys that won against a pimply teenaged conor now? Conor is the top 3 p4p best fighter on the planet and now the fw world champ.

It could be the case that Wonderboy is at least as good on the feet as CM but Wonderboy has just hit championship level and we'll know just how well Wonderboy can implement his stand up once he does stand against a Condit or a Lawlor. Conor already stood against Jose who's stand up is neat and passed with flying colours. I believe because of Wonderboys pedigree he will prove himself only he has yet to do that.

McGregor has great instincts. He's much like a cat in that his great instincts allow for him to already be steps ahead, working towards recovery, before even hitting the ground. Example:
Most guys do not show this kind of smoothness in recovery, let alone the potential for it. The guy's baseline proprioception is simply top-notch. Then add to that the fact that he consciously hones it. The result is that you get the things like the above and the Aldo KO.
He has figured out how to transfer energy extremely well. His awareness of the need to train these things has proven beneficial. Sure, he has his holes, but as far as fluidity of movement and being “like water”, he’s much nicer than most.
