Conor McGregor Haters Admit It

FFS Dana, just feed Conor to Lawler already so we can stop with all of this Conor fighting at WW bullshit.

The dude moved up two weight classes to save a main event.

fuck off

there were plenty of fighters at lightweight, the same weight class as dos anjos, willing to fight mcgregor. diaz IS a lightweight and didnt have time to cut. so basically he never went up any weight classes. he was going to fight a lightweight, and he fought a lightweight.

and he didnt do it to save a main event. he did it to get paid millions of dollars.

fuck off.

I like his fighting style, but I dislike his approach to self-promotion.

I watch MMA to see athletes who leave it in the cage. If I wanted artificial drama and posturing I'd just watch WWF

CMG is one of the best things to ahppen to the UFC - and I don't care for him.. I will admit any fight he is in will be a fun fight to watch. BUT he is no where near a GREAT - thats what pisses people off that he is being thought of as a GREAT.

So what twat revived this thread? I mean my like count keeps going up, so I guess that's cool

He is more hype than substance at this point and that is very easy to dislike.

And fighting a LW at WW is not moving up 2 weight classes. Fighting a WW at WW would be moving up 2 weight classes. If he truly wanted to fight a WW I'm sure that MacDonald, Woodley, Condit, Hendricks, Maia etc, would be happy to welcome him to the division with an embarrassingly epic ass kicking.

We have a winner.

Get over it McGregor fans, truth is he got bitch slapped by a LW. A journey man LW at that.

I think he's a lot of fun. Entertaining personality, exciting fighting style and his willingness to bounce around weight classes and not play it safe has made the UFC more interesting. I just don't get people who want every fighter to say, "I have a lot of respect for my opponent, but when we get in that cage on Saturday night, I'll prove that I'm the better man" and stuff like that. It's personalities and story lines that add sizzle to the steak. I know, I know, "WWE blah blah blah." Shut up.

I'd like to see condit fuck him up.hell condit could fuck Conor and Gunnar up the same night literally

For some reason his fans ignore the fact that Conor was going to miss out on a shitload of money if he didn't fight.

The UFC events that Conor fights in just feel different, it's like a multiplied version of back when I first got seriously into MMA and Chuck was doing his thing, there is a certain feeling of treading water during the build up to the cards going on between Conor's fights.

It's like everyone is waiting for the next big Conor event, they won't admit it, but even his haters will miss him when he's gone.

That's blasphemy

I like watching him fight. He's brings a lot to the cage as far as excitement. I'm not a bit fan of his personality, but I realize much of it is for selling his fights and I can easily ignore that. He seems like an alright guy when he has it turned off and definitely appreciates the fans. I think he could probably be more well rounded, but I maybe that is part of the draw. Never has pulled out, which is appreciated for keeping cards alive and interesting.

I don't know why people keep claiming he went up to WW? He fought a guy who fights at LW and they both didn't cut weight. Nobody will buy that wackiness to make the loss to Nate have less impact. He lost, it's part of fighting. No amount of spin will brainwash people in the direction desired, so it's pointless to keep trying.

The scary part is he has a real chance for a losing streak coming.how will he bounce back from that?if he lost 4 in a row where does he go

For all the hate you may give him for his persona. This dude is one of the best things to happen to the UFC.

Obviously financially. But more so reliability wise. He hasn't ever pulled out due to past injuries. He didn't pull out on an opponent change like others have. He fights often.

The dude moved up two weight classes to save a main event. For all the shit he may talk. At least he follows through on what he says.

Cain, Werdum, Jones, Cruz, Pettis, RDA, Aldo, ect. A good portion of our champions and former have been absolutey unreliable or unprofessional when it comes to taking a fight.

In closing, tank him.

Edit: Is he fighting above 155? Yes. Then he did move up two classes. Suck it and tank him.

your 100 percent spot on, the haters are probably more likely to buy ppvs than the fans, similar to Howard Stern affect back in early days. I appreciate Mcgregor and I enjoy ufc more with him.

Nate has missed weight at LW badly and has fought at WW 5 or 6 times in the UFC so let's not pretend he was fighting some average sized LW.

The fact is they did fight at WW, of course it was against a guy who fights at LW most of the time but facts are facts, not that I think it being at WW is some sort of valid excuse, I completely disagree with that line of thinking.

Also you are crazy if you think Nate didn't have to cut weight for that fight.

Again, for the 357th time today....he DID NOT MOVE UP 2 WEIGHT CLASSES. He is simply not cutting weight and fighting another LW fighter who IS ALSO NOT CUTTING WEIGHT.....He is not fighting a WW fighter fucktards!

Cheezus you people are fuggin stupid!!
Dont understand why all these nuthuggers dont understand this.
In his opinion he chosed the easiest way and this way lead him to beg for a rematch.

So a guy with an amateur fighter tag on sherdog .. Brandon Wilson, ammy mma fighter posting on sherdog, says Nate Diaz is a journeyman.

He's been top 10 for how long, fought for a world title. SMH MAN

The only facts here are that you Conor fans have zero accountability for his actions.the guy got fucking whooped, public humiliation, and you want him to go out there again in July and get fucking dusted in front of the world on the biggest card by the same dude.thats what's sad.
The results will be the same regardless and no matter what strategy he imposes requires him to come in to engage. He will get pieced up and eventually by the third or fourth round the levee will break and he will fall.

His coach and Dana are fucking him raw and its sad that he's to stupid to see it.
