Conor McGregor: Glass jaw or glass recovery?

He was exhausted and getting tagged repeatedly.

Nothing demonstrates he has either a glass jaw or glass recovery.

He took huge shots by Mendes and Diaz and never went out. I wouldn't question his chin. He also recovered greatly in the Mendes fight.

Glass Jaw, Nate doesn't have much punching power. If he fought Robbie that might of been the first octagon death.

Nick did the same thing to Robbie years ago. Does Robbie have a glass chin or bad recovery?

To be fair he never got tagged hard on the chin vs Mendes. There were a lot of shots that looked like it, but if you watch closely a lot of those either glanced off his face or didn't hit his face at all.

The biggest shot I thought Mendes hit him clean on the chin with, it actually didn't hit his chin at all, it just grazed past it and hit him on the shoulder.

I don't think he has a glass chin though, I think Nate just hit him on the button when he was exhausted and rocked him.

What a joke of a thread. Getting rocked after eating like 40 straights to the chin doesn't mean you have a glass jaw. You can't recover if you keep getting lit up after being dazed.

All I seen really was a one trick pony with his left. No gas tank whatsoever.

He ate flush hooks from Mendes on flat feet and smiled his chin is fine, he was exhausted by trying to ko Nate you bum

He puts so much pressure on himself with the hype then he fights emotionally and gasses. The old adrenaline dump.

It's something he has to work on. His chin had nothing to do with it

Oh ffs, buck up fellas, these threads aren't even remotely close to the shitty Conor McGOAT 3 division champ head clean off 1st round KO threads that plagued Sherdog.

Imagine the shitstorm this place would be had Conor won.

No such thing as a glass or iron chin

This thread pops up every time a Diaz bro scores a knockdown/KO
When will people realise that even though they dont sit on their punches the accumulative effect of having your brain scrambled over and over and over during the course of a few minutes will quickly add up? The left didnt rock McGregor on its own, it was just the first punch where his legs visibly started giving out on him. Diaz had landed repeatedly beforehand, and he continued landing afterwards, rocking McGregor again and then almost finishing him with GnP. Even so McGregor never went out, so I'd say his chin is pretty good.

For reference, watch Nick Diaz vs Paul Daley where a similiar weird looking knockdown occured due to the stockton volume punching.

People always say this about Nick and Nate and every time they do I fucking cringe.

Glass ass, just like his huggers. They do so like to emulate their hero afterall.

as soon as the Diaz boys smell blood they give you no room to rest/breathe/think and that causes people to panic and do stupid shit, hence the take down attempt,

Since when Nate=Nick ? Nick has more power than Nate and the majority of his wins are TKO. The last time Nate rocked some one was Gray Maynard whose chin has been shot for years.

Shocking cardio. He slowed so much that Nate couldn't miss landing flush. Plus he panicked when hurt.

He looked very fragile & vulnerable in there.

Almost all the guys Nate finished by sub, he rocked them right before he ended it. Jim Miller, McGregor, Marcus Davis, etc. He also hurt a bunch of guys that he beat but couldn't finish them.
