The Irishman was boosted yesterday after he heard from the Nevada State Athletic Commission that he would not be receiving a medical suspension that would prevent him from competing at UFC 200 .
There was the fear that if McGregor had suffered any concussion symptoms, the commission might have requested he sit out for an extended period of time, thus missing the biggest show of the year in July. However, the Irishman avoided any suspension and will be free to compete on July 9 in what will a massive return for him after his defeat last weekend.
