There has been lots of talk about Fighter Pay lately, are fighters being paid enough and so on.
So it makes you wonder is the highest paid fighter getting paid enough?

Back in 2016 at UFC 205 Kickoff Press Conference Conor said his worth was 4.2 Billion Dollars for the company and this was before he even got his second belt.
He might have "lost" some fights after that but his PPV sells and follower count are way higher than they were. 42.5m Followers in Instagram and rising.

Conor doesnt care about money because he is set for life and only fights because he wants to entertain fans but is he getting paid enough or is fighter pay only a problem at lower levels?

"Conor doesn't care about money" WTF LOL

Conor doesnt care about money because he is set for life
Not with the way he's spending money. Mike Tyson had more money than Conor but pissed it all away

He doesn't after the Floyd bout everyone knew Conor would never need for money. The world also knew that Conor has a big penis which makes his haters seethe even more:

If he doesn't care about money after the Floyd match why did he sell his whiskey brand?

Conor cares as much about money now as any other aspirational person with or without a big bank account.

It's a total fallacy that fighters stop caring about money as soon as they're rich, if anything some people end up caring a whole lot more.

They are all obviously getting fucked over, from the top to the bottom.

Conor was one half of the 2nd highest PPV event in history, and the UFC got a huge chunk of his payout.

The problem is Conor is a god-tier attention seeker, there is a strong push to make him seem wealthier than he actually is. The way he was promoted as one of the highest earning athletes was laughable. So he really works against himself tbh.

The man sold the second highest PPV event ever in history, and the UFC bent his ass over while Floyd laughed to the bank.

Now he’s not an elite fighter, iirc was bought out of his #1 asset and is essentially at the end of the road now, his earning potential has peaked it seems. It’s sad because as big of a star as this guy was, he couldn’t even get a fight scheduled even when begging for one, Dana really does pimp these fighters out until there isn’t any juice left to squeeze.

He should be worth atleast double what he is right now, if not more. If Conor wasn’t such a active savvy charismatic business man, the truth would be much clearer to see. Conor has done well for himself outside the UFC though, and thus it’s not readily apparent that most of his wealth isn’t even from UFC payouts.

He pursued the Floyd fight and teased it years before it happened, he had the vision to set the whole thing up. He was the one who was passionate and dedicated enough to found Proper 12. Without those 2 once in a lifetime breaks, he wouldn't even be worth half of what he is today, which is crazy considering the standard that he's set for PPV buys might not be broken for decades.

conor just has a semi in that pic. he probably fluffed it up before hand to give the allusion of a big roger

and i wasted 30 seconds of my life thinking and typing that sentence.
And 30 seconds of mine

Why is "lost" in quotation marks? Did the losses against Khabib and Poirier not count?
