Talking with ESPN’s Kenny Mayne, Conor McGregor says he wishes he would have cooperated with the UFC and been present when he watched the UFC 200 press conference online.

------------

Now only if his fanboys would admit it.

;)

EDIT: For those with itchy fingers ... ;)
Nobody is saying Conor said his whole stance was wrong. Not I or the article.
Just that he could have still done the presser!
Adults do a lot of things that they feel might not be fair (for the over-all situation to work out) & that is how I & many others took it!

Props to Conor for saying that.
I don't want that to get lost in any of this.
Good for him!

Dammit he submitted to THE MAN!(and i don't mean nate)

I like to make fun of Conor, but I like him and I can appreciate when a man thinks he was wrong for any reason and has the courage to man up and admit it. Hespect.

He had a cold hard realisation when he lost out on $10,000,000 . It sure would have been cheaper to fly

His childish crap ran it's path. I rarely click on his threads anymore and if he goes after Floyd and gets finished, he'll fade away.

I love his fighting style; he just needs to get back in the octagon.

I'd say he's regretting it.

He'll still make good money at 202 or whenever he's fighting, but I'd say he could've made alot more had he fought at 200.

I'm happy that we get Bones vs DC II though.

Yea, he played chicken with the UFC and got kicked off the card. Now he regrets it. I hope he defends the belt before another fight in a different weight class. But, I doubt it...

Exactly
I just wish he would stop lying & making up figures.
He is such an exciting guy & so good for MMA that he does not need to bullshit about his worth

"... BUT sometimes you've gotta do what's right for you, and not do what's right for everybody else, and especially when you've done what's right for everybody else a million times over. You should have the right to do what's right for you sometimes."

How convenient you left that bit out. I'm no huge fan of Conor, but this is purposely misleading. You're going on the ignore list.

If Conor is truly just about money, he would leave UFC, fight Mayweather, and then retire..

Yeah, Conor should've known that he'd end up being the one to flinch first against Dana and Lorenzo.

Who knows about the actual dollar figures, but I think it was a good way for Zuffa to chill him out a bit.
If 202 happens, they all win & Conor is less out of control.
Plus like some said, there were issues that led up to his antics & hopefully they are worked out too & an exciting part of MMA gets back to being that!

Can we get a fucking fight booked? UFC 196 feels like it happened back when Lennox Lewis ruled the roost.

No ... I copied everything in the article braniac
What you added does not change the point that he wishes he just did what was needed.
Any adult in a relationship knows there are times where you agree to do things you are not 100% behind!
Oh & the article is from ... SHERDOG
Ignore the whole site so we don't need to see your "panic posting" ;)

Btw ... you can feel you are justified in a situation & still regret how much of a stance you took -!

Props for saying it but reality is Conor no longer wants Nate and is slickly backing out IMO. The very strange for a man who never saw a reporter he didnt like cant do press cop out was a delay tactic after all his friends told him he has no chance to beat Nate. Then he told UFC to low ball Nate so fight never happens and we are onto a FW title defense in the fall like he should have done before.

Hopefully for Conor, and conveniently, eliminating Frankie.

Guys pretty smart if it all works out. haha.

Yup he thought he could demand and do what he wants, but he has now realized that he is just a fighter and nothing more than that. UFC will flush his ass down the river whenever they wish too. UFC are not contracted to Conor. Conor is contracted to them!! they can do what they like and destroy him if they really wanted too. He needs to get his ego checked

But that is an interesting thing to t hink about...

Are we SURE that bullshit doesnt help him/MMA? Floyd made his name by being a great boxer AND by being one ostentatious dude. People like money and they like 'winners'. That is all part of his character.
