Conor looking old again

That fast life catches up to you quick. Same with Jones. Being in the fight game definitely doesn’t help.
In Jon’s case, it’s not just the long MMA career and party lifestyle. The guy was competing in wrestling for a decade before even starting MMA. Talk about some hard mileage.

In all fairness, he has pretty developed lats.

Conor, listen to me. You are thirsty for attention, we can see that.
We are grateful to you for the lesson that you have taught us all: That no amount of money or fame can bring fulfillment and satisfaction to one's life.
But I want you to listen closely. You are one of us. You are just like us. We are short, we get drunk, we get high, we make mistakes, we lose sometimes, we fail in our live's biggest moments and that's okay. Because that's what makes us human.
We know behind those big muscles, you're afraid. You think you're projecting strength, but we all know inside you're afraid that you've lost control of everything that matters to you.
All I ask is that you stop running away from those feelings. Just sit there wtih them, observe them. You're going to be okay, Conor, you're going to be okay.

<{anton}>

I wonder if any of you fools posting “Looks Old” threads, are in your mid 30s yet. Time comes for us all!

I mean this is what happens to a 30+ year old man who doesnt give a fuck anymore and has access to unlimited booze/drugs/food, and no reason to keep in shape, spending the time on various tropical destinations.

It ages you fast.
Tbh if I was in his situation, i could end up like that too.
I wouldn't give a fuck, eat steaks on a daily basis washed down with whiskey, "train" by lifting some weights (drunk), and wake up at 2pm lmao.
Which is probably what he's doing.

When you have this kind of money and freedom, you stop giving a fuck. Its human nature unless you are the 0.01% that is very ascetic and stoic.

Like LeBron, CR7 or Mayweather. These guys are richer than Conor, have bigger accomplishement than him in their respective sports but yet they still manage to stay in very good shape.

Why does he pop boners before taking pictures...

Like wtf??? Ahahhaa..

Is that tough these days ..

Look im so tough and ready to fuck at the same time ahhahaah

CR7 in particular is a style icon and actually gives a shit about how his body looks. He's got a dose of narcissism probably.
It's the kind of guy that gets fit not because of the money, he actually wants to appear young and relevant no matter his age.
I understand this because I have the same attitude. I hit 30 now and still go running 3x per week and watch what I eat, and avoid drinking/smoking, because I don't want to age badly and still look good. I force myself to do fitness because I have a greater fear of looking like shit and "getting old", than the pain of doing fitness.
David Beckham is also similar. Too much of fanbase because of his looks, so he probably doesnt ever want to leave the house not looking good.

Basically these guys have purpose, very very very strong purpose. They are relevant. They have a life path and millions look up to them.

Conor actually is similar. He definitely takes care of his looks and body.
However, he has a problem with drugs, alcohol, etc. This problem stems from depression. I know exactly how he feels because I felt the same (despite not being a millionaire). You get lots of pleasure from alcohol & drugs if your life lacks meaning. Like if you dont have a goal.

Putting yourself in Conor McGregor's shoes, I can understand his mental anguish.
- He lost a bunch of fights in a row. He's looked at like a loser or at least, his light is dimming.
- He's getting older. I know the feeling of hitting 30+ and knowing your body is starting to not feel the same, and your time "in the game" is limited (then you join the old farts sitting on rocking chairs). He's getting older and due to injury he can't fight and feel like he's in the game. He feels he's wasting his time. He's probably in lots of pain too. And he knows he cant rush a comeback otherwise he'll break the ankle again.
- He's rich yes, but its not enough. He wants to be relevant and in the game. He doesnt just want to drink whiskey and be rich. Being rich by itself (hard to understand for us poorer folks) does not give happiness if you're not living and don't have projects.

TLDR: Conor is in a downward spiral. It will get worse if he doesnt manage to come back. IMHO he needs a psychologist and I hope he pays himself the best one. At this point in life, he needs to COPE with the fact that he has VALUE even though his career may be over. He needs to accept that, let go of his ego. If he doesn't, he'll eventually hurt himself and his family.

To be honest even though Im no fan of Conor, I hate to see a man go through this, because I understand this mental pain he's going through.

Ahhhh.....the daily Conor thread about his looks......we would be lost without these valuable gems! Maybe tomorrow we can have 10 more about his behavior, money or tattoos too? Funny, it is not even his nut huggers that makes these anymore, it is almost always the people that have an AV of Conor getting ko'd/tapping out that make these threads, incredibly thirsty for some easy simp likes ala Hitto style.

You are stalking him even more than his biggest fanboys lol
What a waste of life

A man who was on top of the world's downfall for all to see (his fault being extremely public about his private life through social media) is always going to generate debate.
Most people aren't going to want a Karate forum to have countless threads about the right way to throw a punch or kick, it gets tiresome after a while.
Forums are basically entertainment, discussions, an internet bar of sorts.
You can't expect anything different.

It's just like discussions IRL really.

Drugs / alcohol = look old ….. nothing new …..I’m 40 and look like Jack Lemmon ffs

I get it.....but at what point does it become over kill? This was not about some event, punching another DJ, it literally is about how he looks in a picture. And mind you, the people making these spent years trashing connie nut huggers for being obsessed with him and only caring about Conor. The haters have become worse than his most rabid fans ever were.
