Don't get me wrong, Conor threw shitty kicks at bad places and did the break to himself. He was being a reckless dummy about how he was throwing low kicks, and it's his fault the break happened.

That being said, Dustin didn't check anything. It was Conor and Conor alone that fucked up his leg, apart from maybe that elbow check which was relatively lucky on Dustin's part.

I was surprised by how bad Dustin's low kick defense was looking. Hell, I was rooting for Dustin, but he didn't look very good on the feet. Conor just blew it with an awful gameplan and shitty fight IQ.

Fair enough, tho saying Conor caused it purely by himself is an unpopular opinion to say the least

I think he was surprised. I also think he figured out early all he needed to do was turn his hip or lift his knee and Conor would smack a totally wrong spot. Also don’t forget the only calf kick thrown in the fight that completely buckled someone was by Dustin. So much for Conor learning how to check kicks
