Conor just GAVE the mount, then the back, then the neck

His boxing defense was exposed, gas tank was exposed, his BJJ was exposed, his wrestling was exposed.

I've never seen so such exposure in one fight

I've watched that final sequence a lot and it really looks like Conor just stops defending the moment Nate gets into side control. He doesn't defend the mount, his only "defense" of the gnp was sticking his arms straight in the air basically, and he was not defending his neck as he rolled onto his stomach. He could have kept his right arm protecting his neck, but rolled onto it. Could have used his left arm to protect his neck but tucked it in.

He gave up that choke. He wanted out. This is not a comment on anything other than that one moment in the cage ... but he wanted out.

Yep he wanted out. And that's not knocking him. Hell...if I was mounted in the cage by a Diaz brother I'd want out too!!

ive been up for 24 hours+ because conor fans keep getting rekt and I want to witness it haha

imma collapse soon though and be back later during the day, you bitches can run but you cant hide

didnt nate sweep him after the guillotine attempt? or was that a different part

Nate gave him a way out. Conor took it so he could walk away with some dignity

He could have easily stood up just so he could KO Conor in Ronda style but that would have ended Conor's hype career.

It's not like Conor can leave fighting and do other things like Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue or do B-movies like Ronda when he gets depressed.

He can't be that bad at grappling. the most likely scenario is Nate just hurt him too badly with punches that he couldn't fight back.

do you people not have jobs in Sweden?

Yeah and he tapped twice, just in case it get's forgotten.

Honestly, he did give up his neck easier than Rumble did to Cormier. He definitely wanted out, I don't think even the biggest fan can dispute that. I don't blame him, though. He took a lot of shots after he initially got rocked. It's a testament to his chin that he never actually dropped.

I saw in this forum people saying Conor would beat also: GSP. Lawler, JJ and Fedor.

A man who never even had a fight in his real weight class in the UFC.

Well now he has and everybody knows the truth. I mean some of his fans are still grasping for straps, it´s hard to handle a reality check

You forgot to mention how Conor would whoop Nick with ease.

Care? I having trouble finding interest. I thought he would lose. And I didn't get shit, not even a cookie.

Fuck you.
You don't deserve no cookie. You didn't bet anything.

These mindless fan boys and megalomaniac midget conor said all kinds of impossible things, it was impossible to him to beat RDA too.

Conor was calling Werdum a pussy !

He wont´t even beat Frank Edgar.

Aldo i don´t know, he fell for conor´s mind games, and Mendes with a full camp would give him trouble too, but his chin has been suspect so i don´t know.

But Conor beats no LW top 10 fighter that´s for sure. maybe a early luck punch, but 9/10 times he loses.

Youre so right, it was shamefull in multiple ways

I have been saying here that this style of Conor´s of openly trading blows, doens´t caring about blocking or head movement, just looking for the countering, was working for him at FW, where the fighters have a smaller frame, but in LW he would be equaled in power and structure and could be rocked at any clean punch and that´s exactly what happened.

It was the 2nd round, and Nate's a volume striker. And Nate hadn't really gotten started until towards the end of the 1st round.

Without going to the ground, Nate would have (T)KO'd Conor inside round 3 at the latest. Might not have survived round 2. At a certain point (no later than Nate gaining side control in that final sequence) it's pretty clear Conor saw the fight's possible outcomes reduced to two: he gets (T)KO'd or submitted. And he chose the less-undesirable one.

I'm actually pretty shocked by how ... hrm, not good Conor's chin looked. I don't want to say bad because, you're right, he never got dropped. But it's surprising to me that Nate rocked him with basically a round's worth of jabbing.

What's surprising for me is the miscalculation on Conor's part. Say what you will about him, I always thought he was an extremely intelligent fighter. I really figured he would know how to handle Nate and wouldn't just fight the same as he always does. Like ... watching some of his training footage and all that, it's pretty clear he baited the exact sequence for the Aldo fight. That comes from watching hours of tape to figure out how to get him to react that way, and from practicing the perfect counter - and being able to enact the plan in the moment.

So how did he not know what would / wouldn't work against Nate ? Considering Conor and Nate's natural weightclass (or approximately) is the same, I would think Conor would be training / sparring with similarly-sized guys as Nate does ... so, I don't know

It was the easiest submission of Nate´s carrer

It was like never had a class on BJJ in his life

So much for someone making fun of Nate´s black belt, Conor is not even a white belt, it´s water belt, transparent, non existing.

And he became a panic wrestler after one clean shot, so much for self intitled bad ass

And it was one of the fastest tapping i have ever seen, he tapped just as nate closed the choke

Holly blacked out but didn´t tap, she fought it until the end

And Conor is the one that 'puts his life everytime out there' ... hum okay

So much for your GOAT, he is a pussy

And Nate didn´t even had a camp and even had food poisining

Now it´s back to near death weight cut to bully much smaller men

I´ll be laughing forever.

I was not surprised motherf******

He made it look easy but seriously did you watch the fight? He was getting hit multiple times before he shot
