I think he truly overestimated himself.

Fighting for a living requires over confidence.

Well, to be honest theres nothing calm about GSP. The guy has OCD and probably a little case of ADD aswell.

What all those has combined is true respect, Conor might have some after the fights but before the fight none. I think he has confused not hating his opponents with respect, but thats another case.
