I have to say I have't given a shit about MMA for a while, I used to buy PPVs, then started pirating them when the cards got really shitty. Nowadays I won't even do that, it's become too formulaic, every fight looks the same, too much LnP, shitty decisions.

Conor is turning it into the WWE but at least it's making it more entertaining. Never seen a sport with such po faced, up their own ass fans as MMA.
 
I think an incident was fine considering what happened to Artem, but this was more than just promotion, it helps but hurts your brand at the same time. UFC fought for a long time to enter the mainstream but events like this sets them back, pretty sure he hated this.

MMA was thriving pre-Conor and it will thrive post Conor. Millions love it, practice one or more forms of combat the sport employs, and pay money for the cards.

We're good without Conor. He's barely had enough fights for a highlight reel.

He's in no one's Top 10 of All Time.

He's a flash in the pan. This sport is built on fortitude and endurance. We're good.

They live vicariously through Conor , they spin this to make it appear he is in the right and that it will benefit , they believe they will subsequently benefit from Conor's success.

Yeah, gonna be so amazing to get sued and worsen the professional image of UFC even worse.

I live in NY state and this state is borderline carebear with this kind of stuff. Politicians will use this as ammo that it promotes violence. We are lucky MMA has been profitable in NYC or else we would be looking at a re-banning.

Way to make a good impression on NY who didn't want to make MMA legal. Thank you Conor for showing how barbaric this all is. Attacking referees in Bellator, acting barbaric with a crew of 20 paid buddies, shows NY this isnt a respectful sport. Right? Conor who has the biggest influence in combat sports is now using weapons. Good going.

Conors next fight is going to be so big bro! He's going to make so much money that I'll never see and attract casual fans who won't watch any other events for the rest of the year. He's like so popular and that's why I love him. That makes him the best MMA fighter of all time . True GOAT
