Actually, at the moment in a de-facto relationship with (assuming) no agreements and two kids, if they split he would be facing a considerable payout ... but now with the wedding if he forces a strict prenuptial he could actually be in a far safer and clearer position in case of a break up. Might be the reason for the well-overdue marriage, who knows.

Anyhow, it will likely be some grandiose totally over the top ridiculous event.
