He is obviously petrified to be within 20 meters of Nate hence why he is making these pathetic excuses not to show up to a press conference when the fight is nearly 3 months away.

Conor fans this is how your idol handles adversity..avoids it at all costs.

Spare us your drivel. The fight would still be on if the UFC didn't take McGregor off the card. They could have just fined him as a punishment.

Yeah, I'm not buying the media obligations excuse, at all.

The guy has 3 months til the fight, and he'd have PLENTY of time to train, even with the media stuff he'd have to do.

Funny how since he lost, it's the biggest distraction ever.

Did you read hes facebook post? Conor was coming to the press conference in New York. I think its this week or next week. Hes was going to meet Diaz there. This is just the UFC wanting Conor to go on media tour for weeks instead of days.

"Conor got his ass beat"

This is the reason he didn't want to show.

He would have nothing to say.

I think it's somewhere in between. He'll still fight if he gets what he wants but he's ok with it getting canceled. He's doing a little bit of self sabotage but leaving it open.

I think it's some form of blackmail because he refused to show up for the MMA awards unless they paid him but finally Dana has showed he didn't get sex change like I thought and put atleast one nut on display. He thought like Miesha when she went crying about retirement if she did not get her way like the b^$### always does they would give in to whatever demand. He was definitely fishing for attention when he tweeted he was retiring because that is not how you would retire and the words he used had my 2 year old nephew RLFAO. His tweet was about as effective as the medication they give me for erectile dysfunction.

He was complaining about all the media he had do before the Aldo fight, he won that fight. So this not new stuff from Conor.

Haha yeah. Before that it was "It's a big part of the game, and I've MASTERED IT!". Now, he has all the excuses to make. Just like how before he got beat, Nate was a tiny-framed injured gazelle with a "skinny-fat body", then became "too big and strong".

This is the UFC telling Conor to adhere to contract agreements that he signed up to.

lol okily dokily

It's all just business shit. At the end of the day, UFC, Conner, Nate, and whoever else... They are all making decisions based off making the most money. It's a tug-of-war that we all get sucked in to, but at the end of the day, we watch because the baddest un-armed combatants are going toe to toe with each other for our amusement.

He showing up in New York to do a press conference in May. He could easily do another one in June? This is back to back press conferences that would go on for weeks. Sorry thats too much when you coming off a loss and have set your camp up in Iceland to train.

conor is trying to convince himself with proper training he can beat Nate but deep down he knows it's not true. So all this hoopla is really just avoidance.

This is worse than when he panic wrestled then rolled over and surrendered his neck.

When will his nuthuggers learn?
