Media Conor gives boxing advice to KingRy

Say what you want, but Conor did really well against Floy until he gas.

Floyd let him play for 9 rounds, its the one and only reason Conor saved some face.

In round 9 he beat him up and in round 10 he put him away because thats where he had the bet.

do people really think that conor mcgregor has useful advice for a fighter in a high level boxing match?

and more importantly, do people really care? the dude is a shell of his former self, ruined by cocaine, alcohol, and injuries. the fuck does it matter what he says anymore?
Now we just need to hear what tips Ronaldo has for Garcia. Count on it being a game changer.

The problem with Conor isn't his lack of boxing knowledge. There are also quite some insightful members on this forum without a coaching license or pro career. It's that he has distilled his brain in alcohol and coke for years now. Listen to him there isn't much brain capacity available no matter the topic.

The real question is, who wins a boxing match between Conor and Garcia?

Let's go champ.

Conor will teach him more with a beating.

The point is that this isn't Conor's place to be advising a top boxer on how to box. As it relates to MMA, self-promotion, or even whiskey then Garcia should listen. Garcia already has a respected trainer carrying hall of fame credentials whose family name is among the biggest in the sport. Collectively the Goossens have over 40 years experience training and working with boxers. They go back to the early 80s and that's just at the professional level. Garcia clearly needs to work on his fundamentals. He has to learn to set up his leads much more consistently and stop throwing his signature left hook with a 'tell' every time he shoots it. It'll take a lot of repetition to correct the way he throws that left hook, thousands of them, but it's doable. If he does these two things alone he'll have a much better chance of beating Tank if/when they rematch.

Ryan looks that doesn't listen much.

He obiviously does have some very usable physical advantages vs Tank he didn't had used....
Hook and jab ( btw not power jab ) alone isn't enough to beat more experienced Tank.

Basic flowchart :
Power jab ( watch DM and maybe Briedis version from BB and WBSS1 ) , good 1-2 ( nice example might be Dorticos, stuff he is doing is super effective ) etc.

Height advantage he too obiviously didn't had used vs tank enough properly...

One from height advantage if you are taller than opponent usages are uppercuts and half uppercuts.
You lower your stance and lull opponent in some kind of trap and then counter with this by extending joints in legs and it is all body working here and hand is only end tool here.

Nigel didn't had executed this till end vs Gerald. He might had traveled some inch more up and then Gerald most likely had been in coffin after fight.

Thats also when Conor was visibly so gassed he could barely stand up. There was no evidence of this 'bet'. Conor did such an amazing job, fools like you have to made up excuses that he was carried. Cope.

So Floyd's punches got visibly faster and harder because Conor was gassed? ok man sure.

He was barely standing up because he was getting beat up in those rounds, not because he gassed.

Blind.

Never happened. Cope.

Yoooo seen that post out there with Conor claiming he was doing really well in round 9? Thought he was gassed man. Was he gassed then or just full of shit now? I'm confused mate.

From memory he rallied and won the 9th. Was an amazing performance. The idea that Floyd just let Conor punch him in the face so much is comical.

Advice? It was more like Conor being a fan and offering some kind words after a guy took a huge L.

Im not a huge Conor fan, but kudos to him keeping it positive and uplifting when a guy is at his lowest.

Some of you are just reaching for whatever negative bs you can.
